Anyone taking dairy milk alternatives for coffee? If yes, what do you use? And if they're easily available at Aeon or Coldstorage (the two grocers near my place)
Thanks in advance for all tips and advice

I'm trying to reduce my dairy intake but I find I can't do without it in my morning coffee as I like the added creaminess.

By "dairy" do you mean cow's milk only? if so, u can try goats milk.
There are nut milks eg almond milk, soy milk or oat milk but i don't find any of them creamy like cow's milk. What about using only a touch of milk for your coffee? I no longer drink cow's milk like i used to and am now used to it, but i don't mind some milk in a coffee or occasional ice-cream. |

QUOTE(EdBaaBaa) I'm doing this at the moment. Just milk in coffee. I've never tried nut milks. Seeing their texture in images doesn't make me feel like drinking them haha QUOTE(slimey) Why the problem with milk? Hmm.. no problem at the moment. At least not confirmed. Just wanna test out if milk is what's causing a health related thing I have at the moment. |

Try butter in coffee. I am not trolling. Tasted smooth. I like it. But it does not fit into my macros.

I like the butter one as I like coffee that's been roasted with butter (kopi char po style)QUOTE(pooi_pooi1 @ Mar 1 2017, 10:35 AM) Was this something you did too? I'm quite dependent on my morning coffee so wondering how this will affect my day, haha. |

QUOTE(pooi_pooi1 @ Mar 3 2017, 11:02 AM) Yes, I am taking this protein drink. It has a very nice coffee fragrant smell. If you like coffee, you will definitely love this drink. Sent a PM to your inbox. Hmm, is it just coffee smell? I'm more concerned about the switch from coffee to this drink as I'm dependent on having a bit of caffeine in the morning to kickstart the day. I've tried going without coffee for a day and ended up with a headache the entire day :/ Maybe it's psychological that taking coffee in the morning is part of my morning routine. |

There are so many non-dairy milk options available - soy milk would make a good alternative for dairy milk. May take you a while to get used to the taste (it's all in your brain). Anyone taking dairy milk alternatives for coffee? If yes, what do you use? And if they're easily available at Aeon or Coldstorage (the two grocers near my place) Thanks in advance for all tips and advice Other options such as almond milk, hazelnut milk, rice milk, oat milk etc. All can be found in Aeon and Cold Storage definitely! ps: good decision to avoid dairy intake!!! If milk confirm to be the problem for your health then avoiding dairy is the best.
Not all human can digest animal milk. The main problem are the protein call casein. I am lactose intolerant so I try to avoid or eat less. Not only milk, butter, cheese and food with milk added in it. I envied that you can drink coffee because I can't take caffeine anymore. |

That's why I avoid dairy milk and replaced with non dairy milk. I even drink lesser coffee nowadays to reduce caffeine intake. Not all human can digest animal milk.
