guys,jus check around whether tis phone support EDGE?check in gsmarena, stated no support edge, but 3g n gprs....i wonder if tis phone cant detect 3g, can it auto swtich to edge even though it doesnt hv edge?coz digi doing promotion on unlimited package, thinking of mobility, might consider it...since my hometown mlk dun hv 3g, edge should b enof for me...

confirmed Comsat AP set can update firmware to R1JG001 from R1GB001 via SEUS.  Just did it just now.  I remembered it stated there z610 APAC firmware.

Just no post-call snow effect animation on the external screen.  But response in menu, inbox scrolling, and sms typing is faster
