Agree, I'd love to have ron91/92 coz definitely my wife's car doesn't need 95. Actually still many lower end cars can benefit and save money from using lower ron coz even 95 is overkill for those cars.

My Axia already spec Ron95 as the minimum required. It seems our Malaysia's compression ratio is different from the Indon Daihatsu variant.

That is because we only have 95 here as the lowest. See if have 91/92, surely they will say minimum 91/92 as well!

Cheap is one thing but higher ron with higher compression is actually more energy efficient. Pay a little bit more for higher ron but get better mileage. Doesn't work for ron97 though. Price differs too much.

i'm against fuel subsidy. those who use less, receive less subsidy. similarly, those who ride kapchai use less fuel = less subsidy vs car owners. limiting subsidy may help, but it still give advantage to car owners.
*
1st sentence, against subsidy.
2nd sentence, compare subsidy between user usages.
3rd sentence, compare between vehicles.
4th sentence, limiting subsidy.

Problem, did not mention why you're against subsidy. If against why not state the reason it should be abolish?

Looking at fb comments, wondering why so many ppl complaining about the increase in Ron 97 price, when probably most of them use only ron95. No one is forcing them to use Ron 97 also. If want to use, just pay extra la. No compulsion.
*
People with money that buys performance car won't be bother about petrol price. Those normally complain are those who pump 97 into their normal car, which only needs 95.

Don't go argue with them, drag down our intelligence only.
