Same with my Bimmer,no difference in performance with Shell Vracing. With a $1 diff in price, no tq shell, am sticking with Ron95!

Mine tuned to Ron98. No issues with Ron95! I think Shell Vracing is a gimmick! Will try Petron ron100 next!

Because your Bimmer have high torque and you wont feel the difference , just that the pistons & injectors will be cleaner when you use > ron97 fuel............

That is why I said mostly just nonsense psychological placebo effect. Even long term benefits still not proven.

Real case example, for Toyota Mark X, many say MUST use 97 or else engine will have problems. Well I have been filling up 95 for 8 years into my Mark X and guess what, no issues whatsoever! Fuel consumption still as good as any other Mark X out there if not better, power about the same and can still accelerate 0-100 in less than 8 secs and top speeds over 230kph. Never have engine problems whatsoever too. So yeah my conclusion,  those so called benefits are nonsense waste of money only!

Don't get me wrong though, there are cars that surely can benefit from higher ron, for example my Evo coz I boost it higher than stock to 1.7 bars without tappering off, so the 97 do give ability to do that safely. So for such cars or other cars that are really set from the factory to drink 97 then yes, you should use 97, otherwise in most cars on the road today, it's a waste of money only.

This Friday not much drop, the real drop will come if Tapis go below USD20/barrel by Friday & you might see rm0.85/ litre for RON95

Very good layman real life explanation on: Why WTI Crude Oil traded at minus -$37

Imagine the following... You pay $500 today and commit to receiving an escort at your house in 15 days. Cos your wife is traveling. This is called a futures contract.

Unfortunately, lockdown came and your wife will be home for the next 60 days.

You do not want this woman to show up at your house at all and try to pass this futures contract to someone else.

Only you cannot sell this commitment because nobody can receive the escort at home anymore. Everyone is in full storage (their balls) with their wife.

To make matters worse, not even the pimp (Chicago Mercantile Exchange) has more room to receive the girls because his house is crowded with girls.

So you will pay anyone just to take the girl off your hands.

Do you now understand why oil has a negative price when the contract is delivered?
