Dear All, I'm currently renovating my condo. So, only workers will be in my house. I arranged for delivery for my hob and hood.

On the delivery day, I got a sudden call from the delivery man that he has arrived and someone needs to pick up the items from him. It is NOT HIS JOB SCOPE to send the items to my unit!!!! WHAT???? So if I buy oven also I have to carry myself???? So I tell him I ask workers to go collect. I then had to call the contractor to get his workers down to collect.

The driver doesnt speak fluent BM. So, one minute he's at the guardhouse, next call he's at the back door (wherever that is), next call he is at the service lift, next call he is at the basement. Finally, after my repeated scolding and shouting, he is back at the guardhouse.Just imagine how many times I called my contractor and he called his workers to change venue!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Dont know what happened in between, shop called I told them to send it to my unit and settle between themelves and just make sure my things are delivered. Shop only called 1 hr after the driver was ding-dong-ing outside. Stupid driver rather wait outside for 1hour than bring up for me!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Finally, my contractor called. Tell me the driver did not allow the workers to collect cause no IC. So dont trust them. Not even with passport no. Why lah poslaju allow maids to collect but this driver doesnt????? If must Need IC then tell me earlier lah!!!!! Then i can take leave off work and waste my whole day waiting for u to come!!!!! Idiot driver!!! So pissed!!!!

Finally shop helped me settle. TQVM!

Forumers, please check if the drivers will deliver to your unit and also if someone with IC has to be there.

i believe u meant FOTILE.. if not mistaken, the delivery is thru 3rd party courier service.. u may complain to the shop where u bought from so they can feedback and complain back to the courier service..

I also doesn't have a great delivery when buying FOTILE
Suddenly come want to send item without appointment.
Then, ask them to keep it for me, but they mention it can only hold for a week.

Luckily, maybe bcoz my house is landed, they just nicely bring the item inside,
only after I nicely ask them too. WTF....

Its not possible for me to bring the item alone by myself since its all hood, hob and oven.

I bought my Fotile hob and hood from electrical shop in Penang.
I can make delivery arrangement with the electrical shop.
When items arrived, two men help carried my hood and hob right into my condominium.
Hood especially, is very heavy and need two people to carry it safely.

which shop you bought from?
