Good luck in your progress, OT!! My friend used snacking on preserved fruits/candy to reduce the habit of picking up a cigarette when he gets stressed. It did work and after a few weeks, he suddenly realised the need for a cigarette disappeared. He did go back to smoking along the way but it was for short periods and during high stress moments at work. But he'd just switch to snacking again and now completely stopped. smile.gif

(Btw the snacking was on small tidbits like preserved fruits and candy only so his body maintained fit) wink.gif
