I not sure wht they thinking, maybe hard to solve rattling noise😂, overall CVT really give me smooth driving.won't feel like 4AT speed feel uncomfortable when lev4 gear jump to lev2 gear. U know wht means 😂. And i just install E-Throttle (red-line brand), more smooth when i use eco-mode driving .with 11 spot level, eco 7 level. Recommend u guy install it. Just plug and play. No void warranty👍

E-Throttle improve Throttle response from delay, E-Throttle doesn't increase HP, ur car will become aggressive when u mode in SP(sport mode) ECO-mode best in heavy traffic jam.ECO mode will help us smooth driving (save fuel when u press little more fuel in slow motion wasted FC while ur car only need a bit fuel to run in very slow movement 😃

at first i thought that some part might be loosen..which scared me...

i tried...around 150kmph with 4.5k rpm...i tak berani jor...

Eh... i guess our daily travelled distance is quite similar, your mileage is always 2-3k km more than mine whenever you reported your mileage

Just send it for dashboard fix, but warn u... don't expect all sound to be gone thou, instead it will reduce some noises

my tyres pressue around 220 /31psi wor..stock tyre...wait after few years only tukar..

i always travel from sban to nilai...running around 7km/100km
but i tried..until the bar was keep on blinking..only managed to get 430km saja  

The dashboard noise somewhat related to in-car temperature... either when its hot will have those noise or when its cold... now if u tell me to describe what else noise I have, i can't pin point to you... it came randomly a lil bit of anywhere within the dashboard, when u felt the noise and try to pay attention, then its gone 
But those noise is really minor in my case like when you turn off radio and low fan speed only will realize...

My FC so far stagnant at 14-15+km/l, but the pick up tends to be smoother compared to before 10k km service... maybe due to lighter oil being used compared to last time. Will try fully synthetic in 20k km, that time should see some FC improvement due to new air filter 

By the way I plan to change new set of shoes for this ride, Goodyear triplemax... wonder how these set of shoes fares against XM2 and CC6 

My dashboard rattling sound have been solved, and also reduce noise level engine, wind sound by Adding rubber strips wind noise+Dashboard rubber wind shield, i buy at lelong.com, cost rm20++ for Dashboard rubber shield(1.6m long) rm50++ for both front door rubber strips.

Has anyone fitted rear door speakers for their standard variant? I heard the factory wire harness for the rear speakers is hidden either in the B pillar or in the door. Anyone know about this?

This Triplemax macam cheaper than XM2 lei... XM2 for richfag... plus my travel style which is not that much, I think a tire can last me 2-3 years will do...

Triplemax I see in Lazada only RM178 per donut inclusive balancing weh, so temping for a 195/55/15    I think XM2 no RM220 no need touch...

XM2 and PS4 not much difference, why not PS4 for better performance? I had PS3 on my old Waja and it performed really well in dry and wet surface, and it's quiet too. Give it a try and you won't regret. 

that mouse chipping sound, if yours is like mine, comes from the front part of dashboard (near windshield), a more low cost solution is to buy 3 door stopper from mr diy and 1 black color glove for less than rm15 

i tried using dashboard rubber before. twice. but after a few weeks the rubber will become softer, then the sound will come back. so wht i did now was cut 3 finger portion of the black glove, then stuff the door stopper into the glove finger. this is done purely for aesthetic reason. no one wants to see colorful door stopper on your dashboard    . so now you have these 3 wrapped door stopper, u divide the dashboard length into 3 (1 in the middle, just in front of the alarm LED). Then stuff the door stopper in between the dashboard and the windshield until the stopper cannot move.

if the door stopper is too long, then cut the front part. I would prefer if you buy a stopper that is a solid rubber, meaning it doesnt have any holes under it. Reason is a solid one will not lose its shape more easily.

I've done this for a few weeks already. So far no more chirping sounds and dashboard sounds more solid when going thru uneven roads. God the chirping sound was really making me lose my mind.

haha later i'll try putting photos. noob so dont know how to upload photo here. the stopper i use is has the shape of a key. neon color so ugly thats why i wrapped using finger cut from glove

My old Waja is using PS3 and my wifey's Myvi is using XM2. XM2 is apparently more lasting but I prefer the ride on the PS3. Softer compound I guess.

Proton memo to all dealer is to clear the old stock before offering new stock with new HU.
If buyer did insist wanted a new HU. SA should deliver it with new HU.
If buyer dint know and dint request. Most probably will get old HU if the dealer still have old stock.
