I not sure wht they thinking, maybe hard to solve rattling noise😂, overall CVT really give me smooth driving.won't feel like 4AT speed feel uncomfortable when lev4 gear jump to lev2 gear. U know wht means 😂. And i just install E-Throttle (red-line brand), more smooth when i use eco-mode driving .with 11 spot level, eco 7 level. Recommend u guy install it. Just plug and play. No void warranty👍

Care to explain what is that?

E-Throttle improve Throttle response from delay, E-Throttle doesn't increase HP, ur car will become aggressive when u mode in SP(sport mode) ECO-mode best in heavy traffic jam.ECO mode will help us smooth driving (save fuel when u press little more fuel in slow motion wasted FC while ur car only need a bit fuel to run in very slow movement 😃

Thanks for the explanation pal, learn new thing today. Searched the youtube video and need to learn some more

Tq for your assistance🙇🏻‍♀️ I really want to learn on how to chenge the tyre from experienced person, maybe after raya can head to workshop and learn😘

You're eager to learn, eventhough you're a woman, you're not afraid to get your hand dirty. My girlfriend already teach many times and shes capable on changing on her own but when the skill came due, she rather wait for plus/me to came change for her instead of doing it on her own bangwall.gif

Rattling noise get worsen everyday xD, it's like there is a mouse chipping when driving under uneven road. After 16k km travelled, thats the only complain I got with the car. Might have to send the car in to SC for 2 days to fix the rattling noise, Anyone manage to fix it in 1 day? thinking on sending it to Mutiara Damansara SC

haha..same..when i drive on those uneven road...the sound quite obvious..
at first i thought that some part might be loosen..which scared me...

but i wonder..did u guys manage to drive 160kmph ??
i tried...around 150kmph with 4.5k rpm...i tak berani jor...
*
160Kmph still manageable for me, I guess you can try reduce your tyre pressure? it give alot of road grip but sacrifice fuel consumption.

QUOTE(zero5177 @ Jul 9 2017, 01:23 PM)
Eh... i guess our daily travelled distance is quite similar, your mileage is always 2-3k km more than mine whenever you reported your mileage  biggrin.gif
Mine at 13k km now

Just send it for dashboard fix, but warn u... don't expect all sound to be gone thou, instead it will reduce some noises
*
If you heard my rattling noise you would be wish that you just want to take the dashboard out? but wanna know the weird thing is, whenever I ferry anyone beside me inside my car, the rattling are not that obvious but when with me alone, this lil mouse generator chirping like crazy xD. Anyway hows your fuel consumption? mine lingering between 15KM/l ~ 16KM/l, give me around 26l ~ 420KM travel and with that still left 2 bar.

my tyres pressue around 220 /31psi wor..stock tyre...wait after few years only tukar..

i always travel from sban to nilai...running around 7km/100km
but i tried..until the bar was keep on blinking..only managed to get 430km saja icon_question.gif  hmm.gif

QUOTE(zero5177 @ Jul 10 2017, 01:11 AM)
The dashboard noise somewhat related to in-car temperature... either when its hot will have those noise or when its cold... now if u tell me to describe what else noise I have, i can't pin point to you... it came randomly a lil bit of anywhere within the dashboard, when u felt the noise and try to pay attention, then its gone  dry.gif
But those noise is really minor in my case like when you turn off radio and low fan speed only will realize...

My FC so far stagnant at 14-15+km/l, but the pick up tends to be smoother compared to before 10k km service... maybe due to lighter oil being used compared to last time. Will try fully synthetic in 20k km, that time should see some FC improvement due to new air filter  thumbsup.gif

By the way I plan to change new set of shoes for this ride, Goodyear triplemax... wonder how these set of shoes fares against XM2 and CC6  hmm.gif
*
I'm thinking on using fully on my next 20K service, thinking that only tambah RM80. Whats the harm in there. Waaa so cepat wanna change tyre already, later your change regret somemore. Road noise already diam, and then new noise came out of no where xD. TripleMax does give better grip and road noise but wear out pretty quickly because of the softer compound, if you don't mind changing tyre quite frankly and have deep pocket sure go la. Don't go CC6 la, grip takde later corner drift like takumi. XM2 like ours road noise available but grip are better in wet and dry, for cheapskate like me will go XM2 tahan lama sikit.

Has anyone fitted rear door speakers for their standard variant? I heard the factory wire harness for the rear speakers is hidden either in the B pillar or in the door. Anyone know about this?

Cheers. wink.gif
*
I don't think there is any extra wiring available/hidden on the back. Mostly I heard people add extra speaker, the tarik from the HU, no cutting wire involve.

I use D all the way uphill and downhill. Not sure correct or not

I though CVT will have engine braking when downhill? or did it roll down without any engine braking?

wa.... u also plan fully for 20k service... I believe you will change first as I'm always 3k km later than you. Feedback yo  laugh.gif

I worried also lei, after changed tire later easily notice other noise  hmm.gif

This Triplemax macam cheaper than XM2 lei... XM2 for richfag... plus my travel style which is not that much, I think a tire can last me 2-3 years will do...

Triplemax I see in Lazada only RM178 per donut inclusive balancing weh, so temping for a 195/55/15  drool.gif  I think XM2 no RM220 no need touch...
*
Walaowei triplemax perdonut is RM178, but XM2 someone used it till 80K KM and still the tyre can be use. My travel is around 20K per year, that will last me around 4 years if like that, honestly quite cheap considering longer used times. Any suggestion which fully I should go, I'm not that expert on engine oil xD

XM2 and PS4 not much difference, why not PS4 for better performance? I had PS3 on my old Waja and it performed really well in dry and wet surface, and it's quiet too. Give it a try and you won't regret.  nod.gif

PS4 softer compound no? will the thread last longer?

QUOTE(prof.layton @ Jul 11 2017, 03:13 PM)
that mouse chipping sound, if yours is like mine, comes from the front part of dashboard (near windshield), a more low cost solution is to buy 3 door stopper from mr diy and 1 black color glove for less than rm15  biggrin.gif

i tried using dashboard rubber before. twice. but after a few weeks the rubber will become softer, then the sound will come back. so wht i did now was cut 3 finger portion of the black glove, then stuff the door stopper into the glove finger. this is done purely for aesthetic reason. no one wants to see colorful door stopper on your dashboard  tongue.gif  . so now you have these 3 wrapped door stopper, u divide the dashboard length into 3 (1 in the middle, just in front of the alarm LED). Then stuff the door stopper in between the dashboard and the windshield until the stopper cannot move.

if the door stopper is too long, then cut the front part. I would prefer if you buy a stopper that is a solid rubber, meaning it doesnt have any holes under it. Reason is a solid one will not lose its shape more easily.

I've done this for a few weeks already. So far no more chirping sounds and dashboard sounds more solid when going thru uneven roads. God the chirping sound was really making me lose my mind.
*
The rubber become softer probably because of the sun/heat so nothing can do about it, i'll try man. If you can include photo of the item that would be great later diy staff give me the wrong one I die 99 liao brows.gif

Sorry mate, I was referring to PS3, not PS4.

My old Waja is using PS3 and my wifey's Myvi is using XM2. XM2 is apparently more lasting but I prefer the ride on the PS3. Softer compound I guess.  wink.gif
*
Yeah thats why comfort in softer tyre are more good than harder component, but it won't last long.

Bro do you have written agreement or everything just vocal? you can pressure your SA to honor your agreement or else you can take action in tribunal. Like others said, should have check when you received your car. But anyway if proton already mention they won't offer any replacement, you might to have to live with it instead of fighting for it. It might cost time and money.

Proton memo to all dealer is to clear the old stock before offering new stock with new HU.
If buyer did insist wanted a new HU. SA should deliver it with new HU.
If buyer dint know and dint request. Most probably will get old HU if the dealer still have old stock.
*
That's why need to know the buyer mention request for the new HU or just silence and when gotten the car only to realize using the old HU
