Yes, it's perfectly fine to charge overnight, as the DS turns itself off once it's full. Give 2-4 hours then the charging light will be gone.

QUOTE(kenji_britney @ Oct 13 2008, 09:33 AM) err nope, there must be something wrong with it then. never heard sounds other than in-game ones before lol QUOTE(colinwong89 @ Oct 13 2008, 11:46 AM) Never heard of this problem before on the DS, but this was an issue with the old Palm Tungsten and Treo models, where the digitizer which handles the touchscreen function was the culprit. Replacing the digitizer usually fixes the problem. thanks for the replies.Since you just got your DSL, you might as well ask for a new replacement. anyway changed for a new one, yet to notice if the problem still occurs because its charging rite now |

When I try to slide in the catridge into slot 1, it can't slide smoothly. Seems like it is stuck in the middle, and I'll have to use some force to plug it in. What actually could be wrong with slot 1? Anyone faced this problem before? Just purchased my nds for 1 week, and this had happened to me... |

Some flashkarts have a slight bump, making them a little bit thicker compared to an ori cartridge. For the record, I've never encountered this before with any of my ori carts or my flashkart (R4 first generation). |

Some flashkarts have a slight bump, making them a little bit thicker compared to an ori cartridge. Zorocaster is right, as some flashcarts are not evenly flat as some of the chips are slightly above level with the plastic casing. Or maybe lennon_81000 left his DS in a cold place, which caused the metal SLOT-1 casing to shrink For the record, I've never encountered this before with any of my ori carts or my flashkart (R4 first generation). |
