QUOTE(ruffstuff @ May 2 2007, 01:00 PM) I just got back from lowyat. I bought 2 of HD2900XT. The stock is very limited. I don't think theres more left at lowyat. It's selling like hot cakes. You too late son. I've tested with 3dmark2006 and the score is over nine hundred thousand!!! This is because HD2900XT is using GDDR4. Btw, X2K series is for the mobile market. lulz. owi, ko nak kena marah ngan aku ke tak? Sejak bila H/w boleh jadi bebenang kat kopitiam tuh? (And I'm being serious here)

That is the problem with philistines, as if it's easy to respin a design to a smaller process within months when those in the industry would shake their heads and tell you that's ridiculous. It's like saying for let's make a Proton Campro with 20 valves and put it into production in 6 months time. Gawd I love simple assumptions

QUOTE(banjarconverto @ May 7 2007, 04:49 PM) OK, maybe I should have indicate R6XX, instead of R600 which indicates high end range. I apologize from the typo, but I didn't mean to provide shit whatever to you guys. And your respond is undeniably rude. Be precise then. R6XX still indicates high end. If you were mentioning mid range and lower, indicate instead R V6XX then it's be more understood and less confrontation. A little bit does go a long way This post has been edited by almostthere: May 7 2007, 04:52 PM

QUOTE(Joseph Hahn @ May 7 2007, 09:03 PM) Uh so... XTX is not a vaporware then, it's just delayed but will it be 80nm or 65nm? I hope 65nm since they are delaying so much already. But that would be R650 already no ? I'm so blur whether to wait or not... sheesh. I really want the highest end because i won't be upgrading my PC for at least 2 years after this. :/ for the LAST time, repeat after me, "R600 WILL BE 80nm", expect no less then that. And I can bet 3 pieces of ikan bawal masak sambal it won't occur during R600's lifetime

QUOTE(jarofclay @ May 16 2007, 04:58 PM) Fishchicken: Need to ask you a little... is the lack of gaming performance currently on the R600 mainly attributed to drivers and if so, do you foresee it beating the 8800gtx/ultra with R600 having mature drivers on? ...coz if you ask me, the specs on the R600 is so forward looking. Thanks. that's what everyone in the tech scene is trying to figure out as for something that's late into the game, it's got pretty mediocre results for now. I suspect drivers too since it looks like R520 redux so it's better to wait till someone has soemthing good to report back
