Biggest headache I've had so far. Friend who is a level 67 warrior has decided to switch from swords / axes / polearms to maces / daggers because he wants to max out his dps.

Does it really max out the DPS that much for a warrior? Put it this way, a lvl50 dual axe-wielding shaman is outdps-ing him. Not to mention a lvl70 druid in catform/bearform in pre-raid gear.

I was watching him take out a non-elite ghost in Auchenai Crypts solo. It was rough for him. His reasoning was that he was tanking but wielding 2 weapons. Sigh.

Can't log into the WoW forums to check so thought I'd ask here.

I'm starting to notice one thing about warriors in general.

When they're good, they're extremely good.

When they're not, don't expect them to be open to suggestions, or should we say, constructively critism.

Back to the mace thing. If it's good for PvP, then should also be alright for PvE? In a warrior's point of view if he was DPSing and not tanking.

Waiting for him to lvl up to 70 and then check the damage meters.
