daggers and maces are a BIG no no for warriors
especially if all you want is pve dps.
mace spec buff before the weapon skill nerf did bring the spec to be somewhat useful with less glancing blows, especially in raids, but with the not so recent weapon skill nerf, weapon skill is near to useless now. and thats the ONLY thing mace spec offers in pve. stuns? dont kid me, they do no dmg.
dagger spec, oh wait, warriors dont have it /headinhands.
ill let you in to a not-so-secret secret, rogues DONT even want daggers. why do they still wield them? because skills like mutilate and backstab requires them to, if rogues are ever able to backstab with swords, you WONT see ANY rogue rollin in daggers, MAYBE just for the offhand for poison proccings.
yes, while it is common courtesy to ask a rogue before rollin for daggers, my advice is to not even think about daggers, even when theres no rogues. unless your current weapon is SO horrible even crappy daggers can be an upgrade, then go ahead, but bear in mind, considering we're talking bout specializations, which is in arms tree, and the fact that there is NO dagger spec, just forget it.
a general rule of thumb for arms(mortal strike) warriors, get a BIG F**CKING WEAPON, as big as you can get, and as much min-max raw dmg as you can obtain. nuff said.
