i don't think it can be killed "once and for all'. it's possible that it will come back after new windows updates are applied.

have you used this one before? https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10

It even appears after disabling it, wouldn't be surprising if an update revives that thing.

I've not, but would give it a try. Thanks.

yeah; shutup10 is handy, so that we can run checks and disable all these stuff when we need to. good luck.

It's back, like a zombie.

Did you reboot your computer?

I'm not sure how i did it but this thing is absent in task manager of my computers for now. I did use gpedit, shutup10, and also remove 2 services manually iinm (forgot the service names but you can look them up via search engines)

edit: i also disabled many things during the initial configurations after a clean install, before i go into the windows desktop.

I did, and that bugger still came back. What's worse is that I just saw two instances  bangwall.gif

FYI, it's part of the Windows Feedback feature. The thing that snoops on our data.

maybe you can try this: https://www.howtogeek.com/235737/how-to-sto...u-for-feedback/

i must have done something in gpedit.msc also that the configuration for windows feedback feature is greyed out and set to 'never'.

The feedback isn't grayed out on my side, but I followed the Command Prompts command from another website to disable the thing. So far, it hasn't appeared but funnily this time the NVIDIA Container is the new culprit laugh.gif

Guess that I'll find some other ways to "kill" that thing.

EDIT: Telemetry is back...

.. i tweaked my system a lot; i really cannot remember what exactly i have applied; and i guess i didn't disable it either. it's just that it doesn't appear in my task manager for some reasons. i usually do this:

1. before going into desktop after a clean install:
- i disable pretty much every option available, including smart screen; i don't use cortana either.

2. after going into desktop:
- install drivers; reboot;
- wise registry cleaner > system tuneup > apply all; reboot;
- windows settings > notifications and actions > turn off all notifications;
- change power plans; turn off hibernate; set pagefile to 0 or custom;
- windows settings > devices > autoplay > turn it off;
- windows settings > personalizations > start > turn off all options;
- windows settings > accounts > sync your settings > turn all options off;
- windows settings > privacy > basically all options, including 'feedback and diagnostics' and 'background apps' > turn all options off; this include 'feedback hub'; reboot; (maybe it's this one?)
- apply shutup10 and blackviper's service list; running through gpedit.msc;
- clean up start menu; optimize all drives; reboot;
- more random custom stuff when i remember to apply them.

That seems like alot of work just for one process laugh.gif but I think I've found the solution thanks to one commenter from this website:

http://www.askvg.com/truth-behind-disallow...-in-windows-10/

Disabling "Connected User Experience" via GPEdit or Task Scheduler. The moment I disabled it (previously Command Prompt didn't do anything which was surprising), I didn't see the Telemetry return.
