Recently doing some survey on used A4 B8 facelift. Noticed there are a few differences in A4 1.8 TFSI interior. Can you anyone advise?

a) Why some came with 3 stroke steering and some 4 stroke?





b) Some consist of rotary knob and some without

Bottom one is the facelift? Also bottom pic tachometer only has till 6000rpm, which is a diesel version. Not sure if B8 A4s had a diesel model as well. That 4 spoke could also be found in the A6 Hybrids

Anyway the interior didnt really age well imo, the new B9 is vastly better.

New A5 Sportback damn gooding worr. Good thing it is now officially being sold here

last time i bought kancil n iswara second hand so far ok gearbox n engine ok only minor problem like engine mounting n bearing kaput

Actually I have seen 3 spokes and rotary knob combo as well. And the dealer described it as 1.8 TFSI. Thats why Im so confuse 😖

Will check the A5. But at the moment more into the A4

99% car dealer cheat on car milage. Milage on meter cluster can be tampered. When u scan the car at sc u will know the truth. My fren audi A4 also got same prob.

a4 b8 facelift before b9 should be ok..
b8.5 i guess start 2011(?)..2012+ should be safe
redesign headlamp/tail ligt(?)
get b9 if got budget(2016+)
i do niot own one so..cannot comment further

B) without audi mmi (lower spec) and with audi mmi (much like bmw idrive and merc COMMAND.
