QUOTE(john123x @ Mar 30 2017, 04:02 PM) Yea, i think so. I got 2 same sms from them today i got 2 SMS too. think the 1st one was a little misleading since it said 'closing for good..'.. might raise alarm bells so they clarified in the 2nd sms that it is 'closing for subscription..'. LOL.

the subscription fee is on top of the usual 1.75% sales charge?
so for RM10,000, a sum of RM100 (1% subscription fee) and RM175(sales charge) is deducted and the balance of RM9725 is used to buy the funds?
EDIT: Assuming it is moderately aggressive portfolio

when i do analyze my portfolio or portfolio stimulator.. the annualised returns for 10 year period is less than the 5 year period.
is it fair to deduce that optimum period to invest is 5 years? that it does not necessarily mean that the longer u hold, the higher the returns?
p/s: absolute returns is indeed higher for 10 years but not annualised returns.

If someone is doing DCA and has been topping up consistently on a fixed day in the week (for weekly) or particular date (in a month) - would it still be considered DCA if they defer the topping up on a day which is 'super good' for the market as it is akin to timing.. but here the defer is just a day or 2 when there is profit taking or a dip.. and then top up then.
i guess in the long run - it doesnt really matter but wonder what do you guys practice?

I've already got an fsm account and have ut funds.
Gonna buy prs funds too to leverage on the tax relief. Must open different account or do any additional kyc etc? Or can just proceed to buy the prs fund as usual...?
TQ.

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Apr 26 2021, 10:41 PM) I ask fsm, they say maintaining 0% They said will inform if they change. On the EPF i-invest page, the banner has a notice saying that sales charge up to max of 5% will be reimposed effecting May 2021. Will be good if the extend the 0% sales charge though.
