As eastspring global leader wind off meeting going to held coming 16th April, anyone know can we still sell the fund after this date or we have to wait eastspring return our investment automatically only after they clear off all account statement after the wind off settle?

If not, we should sell our holding before 16th, right?

anyone have ideas on this?

Sorry I'm still new to UT

Can briefly explain on this part? icon_question.gif

Do correct me if I'm wrong
From what I know returns = capital gain + dividend

I do know that past performance is no guarantee of future results, however CIMB GCE seems to have slightly better returns than Dinasti though it is more volatile based on the graph comparison tool, which may be a good sign(?), means there is more trading? unsure.gif

Hi guys, i am new to Fundsupermart.

Ok i am a beginner. I am now 30 y.o., average monthly salary is RM3.3k which is not enough to support my living cost in future.

So, i wanna have some side income/passive income from Funds investment.

Any sifu can guide me?
Thx!

Not a sifu but try to read the whole thread, put some in ASx or ASB meantime while deciding on your risk appetite. Read more, ask here and client investment specialist, make a decision then proceed to buy. Don't every day log in laugh.gif

yes.

let say you buy in 1.00.

but before 1 year end the NAV jump 1.05.

Last time you buy in 1000x1.00 = 1000 MYR

Now you sell is 1000x.105= 1050 MYR

1050x 1.0%= 10.5

1050-10.5= 1039.5 MYR is what you got.

I see thanks for the detail explanation. thumbup.gif

My portfolio:
TA Global Tech - 55%
KGF - 19%
CIMB Asia Pac Dynamic MYR - 14%
Eastspring Dinasti - 11%

I felt my portfolio is too much overweighted on Tech sector, since Dinasti and CIMB Asia Pac is also holding much Tech stocks.

I'm thinking to switch out some TA Global Tech to some other fund is a little diversify it.

Despite all these news mentioned Tech sector is too expensive i still get a relatively stable +/-5% YTD for TA Global Tech and the rest is just red since Feb 2018.  rclxub.gif

Any recommendation?

Maybe switch some to United Global Quality Equity Fund - MYR Hedged ?

Simpan cash in MMF until enough to send over to SG,  then seat in cash. When discount come,  buy cheap dividend socks which able to generate 6-8%p.a dividend for reits.
For non reits,  get 4-5% dividend which can grow annually.

If price good,  divert some to good UT in SG
If price no good collect dividend and wait.

Think I talk kok? I have a plan and I stick to it. I don't chase when price shoots up.

Convert now while SGD still cheap.

Experiment to transfer cash to UK for future... whistling.gif whistling.gif
