any1 know the price range for raytech tint??

just go for V-Kool. You won't be dissapointed

myb i will use Ecotint...just like to know the price..v-kool is abit expensive..my budget is about rm600 only

I am currently using V-Kool. I must say, I am impressed with it. The temperature inside my car cool pretty quick and I have parked my car under direct sun light multiple times. Though the inside can be stuffy but still bearable. Imagine those without any tinting on their windows. You will felt as if you're being roasted alive after your car have been parked under the blazing sun. I spent around RM1,700 for my Peugeot 407.

any1 using AutoTint? i will be given "so-called" rm200 voucher when i get my new car next mth...so i was tinking isit wise to use the voucher or look for a better option...my budget is quite tight thou...<1k

Hi guyz...I'm going to get my new car tinted soon. I've been using Solargard ever since, it's great but wanna try security film this time round. I'm down to two finalists, Llumar and 3M. What do you guyz think? which one is better?

After reading few posts here, never see anyone mention a shop that actually does light metering measurment.

All car windows come with certain light blocking. And if added with tinting, it'd could be more than JPJ allowance.

And there's no such thing as brand endorsed by JPJ. All brands are ok, as long as measured light is 70% (front) and 50% (sides)

just did my tinted yesterday... i go for rikecool RC63 & RM400... both security tint...

result - i love it their workmanship and also the price is reasonable for highest grade tint...

can someone explain to me, 2mil , 4mil or 8mil , which is better? the thicker the better or the other way around?

of cos the thicker the better in term of security...

but would it cause any problem to smart tag?

as long it's not too dark.... security film might not be dark but thick

just wanted to ask. i tinted my car with proton recommended tinted shop n voucher. But one yr down the road, my rear window start appearing bubbles. can i re-tint the rear window again?

btw, i m dissatisfied with their job in the first place. although they warranty 7 yrs but i dont intend to go there again.

can i go to other shop n ask them to fix it for me?

frankly speaking i never like those offers that not only Proton but also other car dealer offer tinted glass....

because the salesman will get commision from accessories shops & those shops will give low quality or overpriced tint.

i would rather reject the tinted offer & get a better price for the car. thats what i did with my Satria Neo.

if i want to use the 1st grade v-kool ( the one that block 94% heat ) , will get tahan by police annot?

nope... unless u tint 2 layer or so on.... then become agong tint but better ask the dealer, they'll tell u which grade will pass or not....

tint too heavy will affect ur gps signal

its heat barrier + security features? how many mm? Mind sharing where to do it? Thx

if i go to other shop, they will peel the previous one and fix with new one right? i really have no clue of car things ler
