QUOTE(CarroTT @ Jun 4 2013, 04:50 PM) Guys, I am planning to buy windscreen insurance end of this month with Ambank. Looking for shops that can change my broken windscreen and do tinting also. Currently using 3M crystalline. Anyone know where got shop that can do claims for Ambank for both windscreen and tinting ? Appreciate it very much From my experience, you have to wait 1-2 months after you renew your insurance otherwise the insurance company will suspect something fishy happen. Did you plan to go back service center or just want to do it outside? Try this one http://dsg-auto.com/web/?p=12

QUOTE(BBLow @ Jun 5 2013, 01:44 PM) Hi Lonely143, just realized that you are selling vKool. I thought you are looking for a good tint too. Since vKool is also one of my favourite, can you PM me the best price for vkool Elite for front screen + vkool secure for sides...erm for back normally which one do you recon? Now does your product still having issues with smart tag, autogate sensor and GPS signal? Many years ago, our old car had this problem...then the installer made some holes on the tint to solve this problems...quality wise no complaint...heat rejection very good...but had sold our old car. My new car is nissan almera. Check you PM, the price almost double haha

Heat Rejection or Safety Film - Depends on the driver male/female Transparency - Have to follow JPJ rules - FWS >70% , All side and BWS >50% Price - Depends on your budget and car model

QUOTE(darkdevilrey @ Jun 8 2013, 03:11 PM) IT JUST A FILM. and the window is JUST A GLASS. nowadays people very easy get cheated with the key word SECURITY FILMpathetic people pay high price for the thin film, expecting SECURITY. what a joke when you BMW got into accident, you expect the bumper just got dented ? not just because you pay high price, then you can get SECURITY. Yes it's truth, I always advise my customer consider heat rejection as priority but some of them insist to have safety film. This is what the market demand, that's why safety is here

Guys do you see that your car windows is frameless? How do you all expect the glass to hold? The truth is safety film is design for architectural. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RwOQ_dCfSUNo matter how expensive or how thick is your safety film, you windows still break and the holding power is weak

QUOTE(ooixinjia @ Jun 10 2013, 10:35 PM) So what you mean is that this deal can't be trusted? What he mean is 1. The huge discount is fake. 2. Most of the film specification stated there is fake. 3. Even though it offer 7-15 years wararnty, the shop might close down in 2-3years 4. If the accidentally spoil any part of your car, they might not compensate for it 5. You do not have right to complain on small little thing because you pay little for it joking

QUOTE(zerohunter @ Jun 11 2013, 11:40 PM) if u can increase your budget to around rm1700 to rm1800, u can get one of the best available here like 3m/vkool/huper optik, please note that u only apply once and it can last u few years down the road, it's worth it, don't skimp on tint film, when u regret later, remove and apply new tint, it cost u even more +1 unless you plan to sell the car in 2-3 years

QUOTE(ahchun @ Jun 12 2013, 03:39 PM) this is my experience on buying tint deal from internet and stick to my kenari 1. offer was 150MYR and free remove old tint. which i think quite cheap d 2. the offered tint is very very basic. so i add on rm80 for security tint and add 100 for better tint front screen over all i am satisfied. heat rejection was acceptable and workmanship is good. clean up old tint without damaging my heat element at rear screen for rm330 dont expect the quality to be like those rm2K tint I love your comment, at least you do realize what you pay is what you get. There are some customers only pay few hundred but make it like they are paying thousand for it
