Hi sifus~ I need advice on which film I should take.

I wan above 70% VLT (I actually don't mind brighter as my eyes cant really see well at night). I also drove mainly at 11am-3pm which the sun its at its hottest time. So I be needing those film that good to block UV, IRR, and heat. Also the film gotta be smartag and GPS friendly. I also be needing the film come with security feature, so it need to be minimum 4mil, correct?

Lets assume I can pay high price, which model/brand/type I should get?

my colleague here just install 3m crystalize (or something), smartag cant use. He said need almost stop baru can hear "tit". He also mention cant even go in to those BET smartag lanes, he jammed kenot pass. So now he always lower his window to use smartag... kinda beat the point of having smartag. XD

After this few days I research for the best film for my car.... There is no "best" film. If the film good at handling heat, it doesn't comply with smartag. Material that used in film also counted.

In short, u gain something, you lose something. Simply just choose which best suit your preference.

Currently I think that I am considering theses two options since the wife wants to have security as well:

1) FWS & RWS: V-Kool Elite, Sides: V-Kool Secure
2) FWS & RWS: LLumar AVS70, Sides: LLumar Diamond 6

Which brand would be a better choice in term of price, warranty and longevity?

I like the fact that V-Kool has a higher VLT but my concerns for V-Kool are Smart Tag friendly and oxidation after long term usage.

i'm definitely not going for vkool as the color not my liking

now i'm between huper optic and llumar... anyone can advice abt the heat rejection and security of this 2brands? as far as i know lLumar is good in security film but not sure how is the heat rejection and how long can it last abt the heat rejection. Huper optic has been hearing that it is good.

my SA offering my iLumar T4-50 and front screen AVS 90
and I got offer of Huper optic front screen c70 but side windows will b 6mil security tint

both are roughly same price

On paper LLumar AVS & Diamond 6 look like they are on par with V-Kool. Their cheaper films are indeed inferior but I'm not sure how much is the AVS & Diamond 6.

What I meant was the LLumar spec in Malaysia as given by tintauto.com.my looks like they are on par with V-Kool

Hi guys. I was quoted RM2400 for 3M tinited with security feature, 6 mil with 10 years warranty is it worth it? Need all your expertise advice :-)

Honda City only lo, the boss say very kiat 6 mil tinted from 3M, security good and 90% cut don't know what ray. 10 years warranty for discolorise, bubble..ete etc.. My friend's civic only cost 750++ for tint , 2400 for a city? 

Hey Guys, Just get one comment from a tint shop. They comment that International Brand Tint, only Vkool and 3M is High grade, the rest solar gard , amor gard, illumar, Huper Optic is all 2nd grade tint, is it true?

Price range between RM1500 - RM2000 can get Huper, 3M or VKool?
i tot Vkool will cost Rm2k - RM3k?

Have you done your tinted yet? am looking for this for my new focus too. Hope you dont mind to share if you find one. Surveyed the Air-Cool this morning and got the price quoted 1200 with 4 mil security tint but they said the new focus size is SUV.

actually, have a question guys... did some price survey, and I'm just wondering why is Huper Optik so cheap, if its that good?

comparing to Ecotint top of the line RB tint (from USJ) it's almost double the price of Huper Optik... how come ah?

even the RayBarrier series? The signature one damn expensive!

just being cautious why HU is so cheap (comparitively, 1.5K is not cheap )

Been searching around Ipoh for the window tinting solution....

Finally end up only 2 choices Agard and Cooltintz

Cooltintz quoted me RM1300 10mil with IRR 95% reduction (which I tested with my hands, which I think is not fake )
Agard quoted me RM2500 3.5mil with IRR  90% reduction (didn't test it because no machine to test)

I heard many people say Cooltintz is fake one, so any other recommendation besides this 2????

Meaning the solar guard is not worth 1k? SA showed me the price list for it and it's 1880. If give me 1k and still mark up 9 9 means the thing is seriously very cheap?!?

But 2.2k is very exp >.<
