Seems they had a problem with the server login but all the problems are fixed already. I think they will be participating in the coming PC Fair in KL soon. Who's going there?

I went to PC fair today and to the Perfect World Booth. They got quite a large and nice booth there with 2 large LCD/Plasma display and some PCs to see the game. They are selling the Top-up card, T-shirt and the installer disc there. Quite a few pretty girls also.... tongue.gif ...

Oh ya....they have some kind of Wheel of Fortune where you can get in-game items. You can have a spin if you buy more than RM200 worth of Top-up card. You will get a FREE t-shirt too if you buy a lot.

There's gonna be a lucky draw too if I'm not mistaken. The grand prize is a brand new Nintendo Wii being displayed at the booth.

By the way, the booth is number 528 at Hall 5 KLCC.

You can't really expect an MMORPG to be much different from existing MMORPGs we have now. Don't change something that's not really broken in the first place. If you drastically change something have something new, there's no guarantee that people will love to play the game. So they tend to stick with or copy what the best games offer. I think this is a sound strategy and they should continue doing so.

I believe PW will be launching the English version Closed Beta some time in May or June if things go according to their schedule.

RYL is an old game and is considered a WARRPG meaning based more for PvP combat more than anything else. The action is real-time and more like a 3rd Person action game. The nice thing is you can fight multiple mobs/players at the same time.

Well...it all depends on what your personal taste is. If you like a game play it... if you don't ...don't play it... simple enuff.

The exp card that you can buy from the item mall increases EXP by 50% if I'm not mistaken. Same as in Chinese International version. 1 card for 1 hour.

No idea about the flying kit. I saw it mentioned that the English version will be Closed Beta in May or June. There's a English PW community already at perfectworld.cc and they have a forum as well.

Trace complete.

As you can see there are 3 nodes starting from 12 that is routed to UK before coming back to Malaysia and this made the connection laggy as hell. TMNET controls the routing and for some reason they re-routed it in that way. I did another trace just now and 1 of the nodes is not responding.

This is what I concluded. There was a problem with one of the main TMNET nodes on Saturday which caused them to divert traffic to UK temporarily while fixing the problem.

What do you guys think.
