Just send it to any Tag Heuer boutique and get a quote. It’s FOC. You can decide to proceed or not after that.

I didn’t bother, just service outside since Tag Heuer Calibre 16 is just a Valjoux 7750. Super common movement and any competent specialist can handle it.

My watch is 12+ years old. Sent for service and came back spot on. Was running slow before that.

But I have to say my experience in the boutique is always very good. Removed links with a smile. And happy to show me timepieces when I was waiting.

Compared to back when I bought my Brad Pitt’s Carrera I think the brand has improved a lot. Hope they continue improving.

Anyone got any recommended place to send a Calibre 5 for servicing?

Got this Carrera as a hand me down and I was a smartwatch guy all the way. The watch is running too quick, by about a minute or so per week. But usually it dies over 1 day without wearing it, especially during the weekends where I mainly wear my smart watch for sport activities.

Mind sharing how much this service cost you? Is it a full or partial service? Pretty new to this.

doesn't really make much sense cuz i think that's like 1/3 the value of the watch lol

Now I'm keen for the new TAG Heuer Formula 1 Solargraph. RM7.8k, worth it?

It's been awhile since I've bought another watch, and also my first TAG that I've bought myself. My other TAGs has always been a gift.
I couldn't resist the Formula 1 as it reminded me of the 80s/90s when I remember seeing them everywhere and have always wanted one. More so now with this 'Silverstone GP' edition and having ran the half marathon on the same track last year, which I may do so again this year. The other colours are also tempting, may even get the red and green one which I think it's unpopular but still quite a fun watch.
Also 38mm is perfectly sized!
