Slow pick up when moving from stop, Yes. You had to let the car to roll a little before you step on the throttle.

Keep on eye on the RPM meter, above 1k rpm, it's okay to step on the throttle.

Below 1k rpm, don't step on the throttle. It will slingshot your car to the front.

Pick up when the car is already moving, it's excellent.
Loved the cvt more than conventional auto. Conventional auto is rough, and not smooth at all.

Wait until the RPM goes more than 1k RPM, at about 3 to 4 seconds.

This. Im driving saga FL. My full tank can get around that mileage, sometimes 350+. I wonder if the engine already equipped with vvt back then.

I wonder if saga flx pr previous saga cvt has this same issues before ?

That's why i said it will rosak the gear or handbrake. Dont know what the mind of the engine designer for a city car.

Hi fellas, between the Bezza Advance and the Saga Premium, which one is the better buy ?

1) Saga looks a lot better than Bezza.

2) Saga is bettee to drive, better handling and more comfortable than Bezza.

3) Saga is roughly RM 5K cheaper than Bezza.

BUT...

1) Bezza is more fuel efficient.

2) Bezza is safer. 5 Star NCAP vs 4 Star NCAP

3) Bezza has more tech and leather.

4) Perodua generally has better service & maintenance costs as well as less quality issues, though this is not always the case.

So yeah, its not so cut and dry between the two. Any useful info that could tip the scales in either cars favor could be useful and would be appreciated.

thats right, and it's quite dissapointing that Proton didn't use Hot press forming steel (used in Iriz, new Persona & Preve) for certain part on the car, by using that the structural strength would have been better and able to shed a few kilogram from the weight, and of course the cost also goes up, but i don't think it's like 10 fold pricey for a single part though.

And the funny thing is the segmentation of Saga, its a A seg defined by Proton, but the body weight passed 1000kg marker (for EEV categorization A seg is equivalent to below 1000kg, by defining saga as A seg, no way with the FC it obtain it can qualify for A seg EEV status, should have been B seg instead but it will kill persona maybe), proton should work harder on saga in order for it to obtain EEV status so that it able to have a better price tag, at least a better marketing stance for proton as well.

Seriously my air con compressor is eating a lot of power when it hisses. I can feel the pull back at sub 2.5k rpm @ gear 4 and below. Feels abnormal

I recorded my air cond compressor in operation. Damn it suck 500 rpm away. That is quite high right even though it is a strong compressor

My almost 3 months Proton Saga battery "kong" after the car had been left for a week as I went back to hometown for Hari Raya holiday. Had called Customer Care centre (CCC) and they had arranged with the nearest dealer to tow it back to the center for checking. Had done the self check by dismantling the negative terminal and wait for 15 minutes before reinstalling as advised by the CCC.
The breakdown center really make me feel angry as he tried to blame me by stating that the battery gone south because it was left for a week. I work in an automotive industry and even a diesel vehicle does not have any problem to start after a week being idle with all systems including the alarm is activate. My 9 years old spectra also does not have problem after left for a week. Did any of you guys facing the same problem? I have not done any thing yet to the car as everything is standard. By the way, the car is premium version. Thanks.

1) could be the front sensor that operates.

2) so far don't have this issue. normally i turn untill all the beeps gone, then only pulas the key.

this car is even worst than new persona , bring over old design from previous saga, kosong safety for basic package, shitty rim still for basic package, no big display in premium variant, rattle here and there and lastly bad Fuel comsumption .. all this ppl rather buy bezza by compare all of this .. u said got many ppl interest or not still ???
