Looks like another unoptimized game from Ubisoft.

From the gameplay, seems like Splinter Cell meets The Division in a Far Cry environment.

Looks great, nothing to shout about. GTX 1080 not needed. I'm running a GTX 970, i5 2500k @ 4.6Ghz, 8Gb DDR3 1600mhz Ram and runs smooth at 1080p

Me? Still downloading on super slow Unifi. Haven't played Fallout 4 in sometime, been busy with BF1, Dishonored 2 and The Last Guardian. laugh.gif

2017 for Volta seems a bit... ambitious?

I don't know.. to counter Vega, a Pascal refresh is all is needed, no need for Volta tongue.gif

5 years... by 2022, who knows what kind of poison Nvidia will have.

Though imagine the GPU power in 5 years... 4k60fps? A norm... more like 4k144fps / 8k gaming on an 8k display laugh.gif

First traces of Volta spotted in new Nvidia driver

http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-...-nvidia-driver/

user posted image

QUOTE
It looks like the first signs of Nvidia’s upcoming Volta architecture are starting to appear as recently the team behind AIDA64 spotted references to Nvidia’s next generation flagship GPU in a new driver. It seems that the AIDA64 team were digging around Nvidia’s latest driver looking for traces of the GTX 1080Ti and while they came up empty on that front, they did come across Volta.

Over on Facebook, AIDA64 posted the following: “First sign of the new nVIDIA flagship GPU, codenamed Volta has appeared on the horizon and its PCI device ID is 1D81 = Graphics Device [GV100]”

As we can see from the ‘GV100’ name, we can assume this is going to be ‘big Volta’, similarly to how GP100/GP102 are considered ‘big Pascal’.

Holy freaking sheep! That's a significant price cut. That would mean that the GTX1080 should start around RM2500 now. ohmy.gif

Incoming garage sales price war... biggrin.gif

Website still haven't added the link, but just add 'ti' at the end hehe...

Exactly... cool2.gif

The 'new' price of GTX 1080 Founders = $499 ~ RM2500

Incoming...

I estimate earliest Q4 2017, else early 2018 for Volta.

I am keeping a very, very close eye on GTX 1070 (used) pricing tongue.gif

I'm not sure how it works here, but '[WTS] GTX 1080 Used' still selling higher than $499 ~ RM2,500 sweat.gif

Hope so... GTX 1080 in the early RM2,000s blink.gif Who would have thought.

Hoping for GTX 1070 close to GTX 1060 range in the near future laugh.gif

Thanks Nvidia for the price cut!

Check lazada haha
Haha lazada will have flash sales. You just have 2 keep an eye out always. brows.gif brows.gif I buy 1070 at discount while the actual was more than RM2500. Hahahaha.
*
Lazada, so called 'discount' on products with higher than usual prices, maybe I don't buy often from here so not so keen on the 'sales'. I usually get my new hardware purchase from well known sellers here. tongue.gif

Either I wait for the GTX 1070 (used) prices to drop else will wait for Volta next year.

Can't buy patience, and I intend to be as patient as I can... my GTX 970 still kicking it @ 1080p. I am not 60fps gamer, as long as playable I'm good. laugh.gif

Need to browse and research a bit on who have lower than market price, then with discount, add shopback = really good price.

Yes true... hmm.gif I'm hoping the 'time factor' will also come into play, as in the value of these GPUs reduce over time but that could take awhile.

I think it will be trading places with Titan XP... I don't think it will have an 'obvious' lead of the Titan XP.

If it does (as in almost every benchie GTX 1080 Ti beats TXP), I would be quite surprised.
