Care you elaborate more? Im keen to hdr content which looks great than normal display
basically, HDR in PC community atm is not so smooth and easy to setup compared to consoles. doesnt help that there arent many content in PC atm that takes advantage of HDR
HDR is applied at the end after image/frame has been produced using the HDR's algorithm to detect when to activate the HDR effect. console had it easier cause they are only applied in game and videos, less hurdles due to massive developer support
meanwhile HDR on PC have issue on when to turn on due to difference in system causing hurdles. imagine while typing MS Word and suddenly Windows decide to trigger the peak brightness of a HDR TV, i daresay youll be blinded at the full force of 1000 nits

Windows is afterall, not an OS designed just for gaming, its a multitool system. devs are still figuring out how to make use of HDR fully in terms of not just games and videos, but browsing, pictures etc etc. until the time comes where HDR monitors are readily available, dont expect massive support yet
EDIT: to add on, the HDR's effect and processing on TVs causes significant response delay compared to monitors as a forumer mentioned. its not a biggie for casual gamers, but imagine jumping from 8ms to nearly 25ms just cause HDR is in effect. those of us who are used to <10ms will suffer
