Is it worth upgrading from a 1080 to the 1080Ti? Reason is I saw zotac doing a promo for their 1080Ti lineup .

hah, Previously owned Galaxy GTX260+ that's why is so familiar.

Anyway it feels like GTX 1070Ti is kinda of wasting money and making a sucker out of us. When I see those YouTube reviews on FPS against GTX1070 is not much. maybe around 10 fps or so. at times is even less, probably 5-6 fps. So with that thought, if you're budget getting GTX 1070 seems to be the better deal and value. If you're considering GTX 1070 Ti, you rather save a few hundred and opt for GTX 1080 instead. 

2nd hand 1070 I'm not sure how much their going to let go judging from a brand new MSi GTX 1070 Armor 8G OC just rm 1769 and brand new GTX 1080 Armor 8G OC at RM 2599. Nvidia really screws up their product line

its requirement is insane for 60fps smooth
for
4k 60fps smooth 1080ti sli
1440p a 1080 sli
1080p a 1080ti oced to 2100 min

and then atleast 32gb fast rams
6/8 core cpu recommended

for sli theres a big gain from running 8x,8x to 16x,16x for this game

CPU limited. When I was using R9 290 (slightly slower than GTX1060 6GB), I can get 80-120fps on dota 2 max settings on 2560x1440, and I'm still CPU limited. But that was about 2 years ago, no idea how the game engine now.

Ryzen aren't exactly running nice on dota 2...

About my 1060 3gb... Too lazy to cabut to put in my main pc to test, all 6 cards either running mining or some blender...

As long as it is pci-e then mining runs fine. My second computer has pcie x1 connected too no problems.

Just plug in your 1060 and driver will automatically install. When i’m playing games i just stop mining on my primary 1070 and game on it. The second 1070 mines in the background while i play games.

You can mix match gpus, even with radeon. But my personal experience is only mixed 1070 and 1060 3gb

NVIDIA TITAN V launches. Only USD2999. 12GB HBM2 5120 CUDA CORES. The rated clocks seems low.

Definitely not for a pure gaming purpose, although it's the current GPU beast in the market.
