i add in =150 into my FE and during gaming max clock is 2012mhz....

norm avg max OC is around 2100?

if like that even tho i pump +250 core clock into it, it won't reach 2200mhz as well since its dependent on the temperature...
y la the OC is not as straight forward as last time....what you add is what you get

i know its good for normal user which the card will automatically free OC for them...but for us whom tangan gatal, manual control is the best
will try see whether can hit 2200mhz anot tonight....

MSI Afterburner is the best for me. been using it since i learned to OC GPU.

found my stable gaming clock........- 2050mhz.....but fail heaven.
+150 = 2012mhz = stable in gaming and heaven...but god bless can break 2ghz barrier...

y la i being cursed with Lemon OC GPU....its being my 4th GPU with lemon oc...

normally i terus hentam the figure from reviewer such as guru3d or anandtech. lazy to increase 10mhz by 10mhz.
the below is from guru3d OC settings:
Core Voltage : +100%
Power Limit : 120%
Temp. limit : 92C
Core Clock : + 100 MHz
Memory Clock : +600 MHz (= 9,216 MHz effective data-rate)

1. Just drag your power limit to maximum - link with Temp.
2. input the figure as above.
3. run games / heaven / 3dmark
4. IF Stable > gratz -> want to find ceiling clock -> increase by 5mhz or 10mhz or 20mhz.
IF Crash > decrease by 5mhz and re-run Heaven benchmark. (Repeat if still crash until it won't crash)
5. Require to do so for both Core and Memory clock.

Normally i find max clock for Core clock first then only start to adjust memory clock after hentam the number above.

**AT MOST - HEAVEN / Benchmark crash only. with the lock enforce by Nvidia, we won't able to fried it sadly.
***Not include you hack and mod the Voltage, which the above did not do so

Lastly, have fun wasting time to find the Ceiling OC your card can do and repeat seeing the same old shit benchie

for that price, its better to get the 1080Ti. the 11gbps marketing doesn't convince me to get it at that pricing.

get 1080ti and you won't be upgrading your gpu for another 3-4 years
that's how my R290 last me....3 yrs+
and my monitor last me....almost 7 years

of course 1080ti @ 1440p is overkill this i admit. Although i OC it, i don't see the need for it since the gpu never run at 100% even i play at 75hz/fps. (sadly my dell can't play above 75hz)

you see how long 1440p become norm...its like until now 1440p user gain abit traction only. majority still at 1080p due to the rising cost of PC as well.
GPU price has go upwards compare to Radeon 5xxx when 1k GPU = highest end.
now 3.5k is the highest end. (except titan series).

i have been using my intel 320 160gb G3 for more than 5 years. I only put those game that require alot of loading screen / times. eg. witcher 3, MGS TPP and etc.
yet it is still going strong up to now.

no, its not normal. in msia weather, your idle should be around 40-50 (max).
does your case has any airflow/intake from the front? might as well post a pic of your rig here.

shitty 1080ti....can't even do 75fps in witcher 3 with ultra density on grass 420....

hmm...there's very strange thing with my gpu clock.
while it shows using 99% of the gpu, my gpu clock is around 900-1000mhz only.
all ultra settings at DSR 4k resolution.

and the temp is just at 39C/40C which is surprisingly low when the gpu is 99% utilized.
while on option/menu, the clock when back to around 1.5k mhz.

that's what i want to know as well. only on the Witcher 3.
i have set power management to maximum performance in both CP and Nvidia 3D settings.
tried all kind of things i could, except to roll back the driver prior to this latest one.
