just finished my test drive at hyundai kota dsara


pros :-
-build very good, checked every inch interior & no gap found, seat also stitch nicely
-HU response also good, no lag
-rear camera also good
-front n rear sensor also good
-road noise also minimal
-got rear ekon
-hit bump at 40kmh produce firm sound not nyet2
-couldn't find rattle sound anywhere
-absorber might a bit hard but ok la coz tune for sport
-got limit ctrl, at certain speed kenot lower gear with paddle shift so gbox x rosak
-steering bit heavy in S mode but good so confident to zig zag
-press once for up & down driver window
-seat at the back, my head didn't get hit roof, got space in between (if ioniq, hit)
-leg space also ok

cons :-
-signal on left side, wiper on right
-enjin sound quite loud when hit 6k rpm but the sound is nice
-6k rpm so quick meaning gear chg also quick, baru nak rempit gear 2 suddenly dah shift gear 3
-speaker sound so so only
-side mirror not auto close when off enjin
-no turbo info at meter panel
-red seat
-price of coz

Yes brother ...u r right ...anyway my case was my cerato 2.0 piston cracked lucky I was able to still drive the car...service center check and said ..minyak hitam habis..I said how can that be ...no indicated light on and I always service my car earlier than the scheduled time ...The mechanic said ok don't worry we claim new engine for u...so even though I was upset I taught ok ...than after 2 months waiting ...1 guy from kl called kl saying my claim rejected Saying after 2nd service I was not using Petronas and brought my own engine oil...Castrol and mobile ....I told them I have service my car at your centre since day 1....than without even checking why no engine light on and where is the source of leaking they rejected my claim ...and told me to pay rm 35k for new engine ...i called Kia Korea and told them 2 years old car engine damaged !!! ENGINE OIL dried up...than after that they blamed. Again on the engine oil treatment which i used and ask them to pour for me....they did all the servicing and never did they tell me that if I used other than Petronas my claim will be voided....after nearly a year without any help from Kia hq in Korea ...I was asked to pay 10k for the engine and they will.pay the rest....upon visiting my beloved kia I noticed around 4 Kia cerato with their engine removed ...I asked the mechanic what happened he said they used engine oil threatment....I dunno how true ...but they changed by car engine twice since first time change got knocking sound ...that was it I lost nearly 30 k until I sold the car ...I had the car for 3 years and only drove if for 2 years ...1 year in the workshop ...I m depressed with Kia until today ...so forgive me for bashing Kia ...i.am.a victim and I.dont believe in going to.the.press.or.facebook but this is sad and true....
