How was it and does it provide more benefits if it is sign up at the fair?
What to ask/ what to pay attention to avoid additional cost later on?

suggest you survey first before the wedding fair. once you've shortlisted, go to the wedding fair and see if they give additional discounts.

what i did was, i looked around and more or less decided on a particular hotel already. i waited for the wedding fair. the package price was still the same, but if sign up within the 3 days during the fair, they give extra 1 barrel of beer with min 30 tables confirmation. apart from that, i nego with them further, and they are throwing in additional freebies such as backdrop for photobooth + 1 additional free room stay.
