QUOTE(heavensea @ Mar 26 2017, 05:11 PM) Hi all, the "pelaburan tambahan" is grey color (not green). Is it normal or the grey color indicated that my account has problem thus I can't top up units? Normal color is grey. There is no problem on your account, but not much people sell units today I guess.[attachmentid=8644039] |

Anyone faced problem when trying to top up from 10.30am onward? It seems the portal will redirect user to login page after click & able to top up, instead of fpx payment page. Then we will be locked for 15 mins because the past login session haven't ended.

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Jun 21 2018, 04:54 PM) Wahid Omar leaving PNB over support for GST.. "In his letter, Wahid said abolishing the GST would leave the government with three options that could hurt the countryβs economy. His criticism of plans to abolish the consumption tax has landed him on the wrong side of the current administration... http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/...upport-for-gst/ Like I said previously... all about political interference.. Previously it's Najib administration.. Now most likely PH.. The former minister in the Prime Ministerβs Department said these options were: raising income tax or introducing a new tax such as a capital gains tax; increasing the countryβs fiscal deficit to 5%; or reducing spending including development expenditure." The bold part scare me... This post has been edited by vanitas: Jun 21 2018, 07:37 PM |

QUOTE(veera77 @ Jun 21 2018, 08:15 PM) New govt unlikely will introduce new tax in their first term...possibly in second term if they re-elected.. I think it depends on the SST rate.. if it is not higher than previously, we can almost expect a higher income tax, and/or possibly a plan for new tax in the next few years like what wahid think.. |

QUOTE(Ancient-XinG- @ Jun 21 2018, 08:53 PM) Exactly. Since our price will remain at 1.00. No point put reserve. One shall not depend on dividend to survive. The point of reserve is that when market collapsed, said -20%, it still able to paid dividend. And I rather some year get double digit return rather than every year 6%. and most of the holding in ASNB is dividend stocks or most of them are blue chips and liquid *money market. I will believe it will at least beat the FD rate. around 4 maybe? Because from what I noticed, they always announce they can give 10% la, 12% la but reserve 5%..... Whats the point? What with the 5%? You let it roll? We investor never know where the 5 go? Since the 5 is not in the form of reinvest? Where are all the reserve go? In report no mentioned also. Market wont be bad for 2 3 years. at most 1 year like now in which very shitty condition....Most of the year will get 8 or 9 why not? bad years 3 is ok. What you may wanted is the usual unit trust perhaps? There will be some years with double digit return, but also some years with negative returns... |

QUOTE(Ancient-XinG- @ Jun 21 2018, 10:03 PM) you got to look into how asnb function..... what field they invest.... which stocks they hold..... type of investment..... and latest benchmark........ No matter what field, stocks, or type, there will be always a possibility to lose money, and that is where reserve plays its role. And you did know about asnb variable fund? Its benchmark is not good compared to mutual fund in the market. |

QUOTE(Ancient-XinG- @ Jun 29 2018, 03:22 PM) which is why i DONT SUPPORT RESERVES system. I wasn't supporting reserve, but it was unrealistic or even sounds ponzi to have fixed price fund without reserve.no report of where the reserve go y-o-y. but people yet to mature. some forumer even say reserve is important. i already do some calculation. with reserve, we earn less. without reserve we earn more becasue of the compunding interest!!! |

QUOTE(ikanbilis @ Jun 29 2018, 03:59 PM) A ponzi only happen if there is no investment but paying out dividend. ASx has audited financial statements showing clearly the income and dividend distribution. Eg ASW still has RM26M and RM53m reserves after declaring dividend for 2017 and 2016 respectively. How about there is investment but no profit / making loses but paying out dividend without reducing the fund price? My only concern is the FS only show the income statement and cashflow statement. It does not show the balance sheet i.e. how much reserves accumulated over the years and where they are being used. Perhaps this is the grey area where reserves have been used for political things. [attachmentid=9886234] Edit: Or even making loses and no dividend, but fund price is still same? This post has been edited by vanitas: Jun 29 2018, 04:08 PM |

QUOTE(ikanbilis @ Jun 29 2018, 06:21 PM) Not all companies are created equal. 1MDB involve very complicated structure of monies moving around shell companies. You wont believe the complexity until you actually see it. I know because I have been the auditor for Renong and UEM many moons ago. It's really....complicated. I was saying ASx fixed price fund sounds Ponzi without reserves. If you are implying me, then you may had misquoted my saying. As for ASx, how difficult could it be? Dividend and interests received. Buy and sell stocks. All got audit trail. Even Chinaman audit firm also can do the audit. So if somebody say ASx looks like a ponzi showing lack of knowledge about the product and basic accounting principles. Quote from http://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/cove...ot-ponzi-scheme βThere is no such thing. This is not a Ponzi scheme. As I said, in good times, we create reserves and we donβt distribute all the gains in any particular year. So, we will have those reserves to buffer the payment of dividends during the tough years,β Abdul Wahid says Edit: Fixed price fund is complicated too. With your expert knowledge, how ASx able to distribute dividend without changing fund price? And no matter how the market performs (bull or bear), it still maintained the same price? And ASB must performs better than others? This post has been edited by vanitas: Jun 29 2018, 07:21 PM |

Actually I got a secret script written by my own, which can auto-fill the captcha. And sometime it filled the captcha correctly (100% confirm as it is filled by script), the system still claiming invalid captcha.
I guess most people here faces this issue too? Fill correct but system claiming invalid. |
