What's the success rate of opening new account nowadays? Is it getting more harder for non-bumi?

I can safely say, based on the information that I get from my normal contact at their own branches, units available are all real time. It's probably a coincidence that a trend appears on when the units are available. Most banks only "start" accepting transactions relating to ASNB funds after 10am anyways.

Most people run other errands first in the morning before heading to banks, at least not me. Lunch time is also another peak time when people do their banking transactions, lunch break maaa.

So maybe it's just timing rather than a batch release like what some are theorizing here

How do u know it was the units your friend sold?

This reminded me of one story...
There's this guy wanted to "transfer" his units to another siblings account...

So this smart guy do is try at OTC with 2 staff side by side standby.. 1 withdraw & another one accepted the units..

Not 300, but I think around 50k like that (if I remembered correctly).. So after withdraw.. Immediately the other staff try to key in the amount for top up.. Failed to captured the 50k.. Only managed to get 20k.. Balance just gone like that...

So my point is..
Don't every try this method because now its even worse with MyASNB available.... Every seconds there's people clicking 💪

Any non-Bumi here who has recently top-up on your AS1M? Are there any units left?
