But then, the agent bank teller, who updates your passbook may ask: "when you performed top-up, why didn't you update the passbook?".

Can we tell them that we top-up via online ASNB portal?

It's possible for $145, as long as units available.  I'd managed to lock in 997 as I only need that odd figure to 'tidy' my balance.
