QUOTE(cucubud @ Feb 17 2017, 11:10 AM) They only start planning the upgrade on 31 Jan. It will take some time to plan and it will take some more time to implement. So, slowly wait for their sms or email to tell you to power OFF and ON your BTU and Router. anyone got upgrade already? did they notify first or just upgrade?

QUOTE(KahLooN @ Feb 18 2017, 08:06 PM) I got ranging from 26-28Mbps. It was installed at landed house. Been testing few hours, sometimes when loading a Google blank page is take quite long. And sometimes fast. Not sure whether is normal. did you test using wifi or lan? anyone use during speedtest? which server did you pick?. maybe you can start change dns to opendns or google dns.

QUOTE(cucubud @ Feb 18 2017, 08:50 AM) Is that a Tenaga pole? Got so many horizontal cables. i think this ABN bankrupt cable who didn't finish their work. only ABN using TNB for their broadband infra.

so what is significant different using IPv6 instead IPV4? I don't see any different unless you broadcast to the large network.

QUOTE(soonwai @ Feb 21 2017, 02:29 PM) Not much, same thing just longer. For me: - It's harder to remember cause it's so long and uses alphabets & numbers. - Everything on the LAN is directly addressable from the internet, no need port forwarding. - Another firewall to set up. - You can have a lot more devices on your subnet. a lot people willing use ipv4 instead ipv6. how many device to connect? /24 does not enough? unless you run big business.
