It looks like the online UniFi registration page is unavailable / down. The link I used is https://www.tm.com.my/unifiAdvance/Pages/GetItNow.aspx

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?
*
No problem for me in here.

nah, can't wait for 2nd sms, rebooted my btu and wallah, mine upgraded!

No need. Once you received the sms (ID Order completed), just go straight to off your BTU and router. Wait for about 10 mins, then restart everything.

Btw, just an advice for you guys who about to get the free upgrade soon. Once you received the Order ID completed SMS, your BTU service will be disrupted automatically, which mean your internet is disconnected. You won't be able to online at all. You have to off the BTU and router and restart. I guess this is the way of TM forcing you to restart your equipments before you can enjoy the new speed.

Not sure about the others. But it did happen to me. Just thought that I should share my experience with you guys. smile.gif

When it upgraded my speed yesterday I was still in the office, I went back home and the connection was still alive. However, I tried running speedtest and it still showed old speed. So I switched off BTU and waited for a while, around 1 minute to turn it on back, it was already on new speed.

Hmm...looks like not everyone has the same experience on this. I guess it's depend on the router we are using?

Not ukay. Mine is near to Aeon Big Ampang.

Edit: Just checked my service page. Found out the RM20 early bird discount is gone. It supposed to be there, but it's removed after the upgrade. I hope it's hidden and it will be still intacted in the next month bill. If not, I will be super rage if they remove the RM20 discount.

Any early bird here who also have noticed their RM20 dscount is gone?

of coz, your Rm20 discount is gone since you are in the different package already.

Yes, you can only see the discount in your bill not in OCC.it will show normal retail price without discounts.
*
Ok bro. Then I am relieved now. smile.gif

Anyway, chatted with TM. This is the feedback. So, I can only wait for next bill. I supposed no issue on the discount but it is good to keep a record. smile.gif
Ok. Thanks for the effort, fruitie. I guess we will wait and see next month and hope they will keep the promise. nod.gif

Once they complete the upgrade, defintely have to restart BTU as mentioned by someone here previously. Now I can't connect back to home's VPN, I believe the Internet connection is sort of "down" until BTU is restarted.
*
Ya. I am that "someone" you are refering to. biggrin.gif

I assume the connection was somehow "interrrupted" during the upgrade process. Some people didn't affected, while some others like me and you would have some kind of "disconnected" issue. Not really a big deal though since we still gotta restart the BTU no matter what anyway. biggrin.gif

Which router is recommended for double storey house?

Asus RT-N12HP.

I am using it currently and my house is double storey house. I put it at upstair and the whole house can receive the wifi signal.

Xefron already mentioned it will no longer reflect in OCC UniFi and I also had a chat with TM regarding this, screenshot was shared earlier. The CS also told me it will be shown in next statement, nothing will be changed, aligns with what Xefron mentioned here.

In case you are wondering, I'm also paying RM 179 and my credit limit has increased to 927 as well.

TM already promised no additional payment and contract extension, if they were to do this it will backfire on them badly.

I will also complain to MCMC but I will check with provider first. That's the correct procedure of lodging a MCMC report. Now I have the screenshot and *touch wood* if it really increases my monthly subscription (I'm optimistic that it won't), I will complain to MCMC then.
*
I can confirm there will be no additional payment to the free upgrade. I received a SMS from TM yesterday, to remind me that the next month bill is ready. And the amount is exactly the same as before free upgrade.

Today, a very weird thing happened. blink.gif

I mean...it is SUNDAY after all....but TM contractors suddenly appeared and installed a fiber distribution box on the pole at 10:40AM JUST NOW!!!!

So...the problem.....28Feb is only two days away....is there any chance for TM to come over for unifi installation  cry.gif before the due date?
*
no need to surprised. Nowadays those TM contractors are very rajin. Some of them may come even it's holidays. The TM contractors nowadays are much more efficient compared to last decade.

If you really worry about the 28 Feb due date, on the spot you should have grabbed the chance to ask that TM contractor directly about it lah. But I guess he's gone now right? doh.gif
