I got this some sort of trojan/virus that has infected my ipod nano 4gb..

It wont let me open my ipod normally (double click on icon). It keeps sending "Open With.." .

I try to scan with AVG free and trojan hunter, but no avail..

Are you trying to sell it away? http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/408854

Well, I don't think it can do much harm... If Itunes can do its function well with the Pod, there's nothing to worry about....

But if there's a way, it's better... tongue.gif

Wow. this is the first time I've heard of virus in the iPod although this was actually reported by Apple with a solution some time ago. Search Apple support for it.

Dude, my Ipod is already infected also... It still works well with Itunes and all seems to function well just that it can't double click and open. My pendrive also.

Just the double click thing got disabled. Nothing found when doing scan... biggrin.gif

If there's a way to clean it off, it's good but I think the situation won't get worse right? sad.gif

My friend's pendrive are infected by this type of trojan. Windows OS can't detect these hidden files. Maybe this method works on Ipod:

1. Find a computer with Linux OS.
2. Connect it to the computer.
3. Open removable storage, delete any suspicious files (File name autorun.xxx)
