Unfortunately yes.
You have to subscribe the rm5 voip addon package in order to use it. But the quota is just 3gb though
*
May I know this RM5 voip addon with 3GB, is it per month? I can't find it on digi website. Am I right to assume that when I sign up for digi bb I also subscribe it at the same time? Thank you.

it has 30 days validity but at 3GB quota though. you can find this at "Top Up" section under your BB Data quota Usage website.

Nope it is a separate add on package and does not comes together with Digi BB.

Thanks for your help?

i am currently using celcom gold plan in one of malacca rural area
but connection is so bad only able to get E or GPRS
but Digi got 4G connection

so i plan to only use my number as call in call out and get a Digi prepaid for internet access using hotspot
any specific modem i can use? i travel quite a lot within a month so preferably can have a portable modem
*
If you have an old 4G phone you can use that as a hotspot modem too. Just make you have 3-1 SIM card. Some of the older Digi prepaid comes with the standard size.

There is a network issue at least for last 2 days with Digi in Subang Jaya area. Reported to Digi yesterday (BB) CS gave the standard reply that they get back to me within 48hrs. Very unstable can't connect to WhatsApp but alright with other messenging apps. Have browsing problems too. Some news website is ok and some not. Is this a common problem with Digi and any other place having this problem too?

It is also for this reason I have multiple telco devices in my household. I learnt my lesson when all of us were with Maxis.

After updated to the new MyDigi app, there's no data usage or data balance showing on the "Weekend Unlimited data" column although previous MyDigi app got show as 100GB and the total usage.

Any idea if Digi still capped at 100GB or really true pure 100% UNLIMITED data ?

Can you swipe the home screen to your left which show your outstanding balance, if any? Touch the View Details for info at the bottom of the screen.

Call to digi careline. But their waiting call is extremely long.. wait more than 6 or 7 minutes reach the operator.

I just wondering why digi don't separate their careline between prepaid department n postpaid department? It is totally crap high call waiting..

Have you tried Digi new online chat? It tells u how long b4 the next CS can chat with u. It's on Digi website.

I have tried this before, but "the online chat is currently busy, please contact to our digi helpline or email us to digi help teams".

Do you think this can help you to resolve? whistling.gif
*
I hear you. For the same reason like yours I don't call anymore if online chat is not available. I just emailed Digi my complaint. Same thing when I was with Maxis.

If your case is not very urgent, then write to email to DiGi is still acceptable.
But take note DiGi will reply your email after 5 or 6 working days...

If maxis, normally you just straight away PM in this Forum Lowyat.
maxis teams will respond to you within 1 or 2 days.
*
You can also twitter to Digi/Maxis. My experience with Maxis here all I can say they are selective with the complaints to response.

Btw this is just a friendly discussion.

Overall Digi is slower in answering complaints.

Regarding Digi slow/poor coverage network. When I was still with Maxis late last year during my search for a telco replacement, my initial test with Digi their coverage was bad, I made a complaint then, perhaps a coincidence 4 months later I tested again Digi has upgraded their network at my place. My BB is with Digi, it is as good as Maxis and my phone is with Umobile which is good enough for my Spotify and Waze but can't compare with Maxis. So will I go back to Maxis? No! Not with their take or leave attitude!
Please send in your complaint to Digi, don't ask don't get that's what I think.

I am using Digi broadband prepaid, since around 10am, it stopped receiving message from whatsapp. Does digi change the policy like paying RM3 for voip, or just simply a network issue. >.<
*
It's a network (hardware) issue. You have to report to Digi. I had the same problem last month with my postpaid BB. The other messaging apps have no problem.

On my new Digi app, I'm having a billing issue last night it showed I owe them $$ but today it is zero, nothing. Actually there should be surplus. Anyone having billing issue with the new app?

Hi guys,
I'd like to ask you fellas, is it a good idea to get iPhone 7 from digi?
My wife is pestering me since it seems like a good deal.
So far, from my quick check, the quota seems good enough for my wife monthly usage. I'm just wondering if the price digi is offering is a good deal compared to others in the market.

Apple dealers Machines & Harvey Norman selling their iphone7 128GB AT 32GB price, that is Rm500 discount. But you have to pay cash.

Has anyone experienced abnormally slow speeds from digi recently? Say for the last 1-2 months. And it's getting worse this week.

Half the time YouTube, Reddi gifs, Instagram don't even load. Web browsing is slow. Speedtest.net gives me about 4-5Mbps which is in itself very slow for LTE.

Did something happen to Digi?
*
Yes lately with the school break Digi BB is slow almost the whole day, the only time that is fast is before 8am. Network is very congested. Digi need to upgrade network before offering infinite plans. It can only get worst and I don't see any improvement even after the school break.

Yeah, waiting for that quota limit too.
With DiGi, their definition of 'UNLIMITED' means with quota....
