when connected to Huawei E5577S on Digi BB, unable to use Whatsapp and Wechat to send/receive messages

when disconnected and back to Digi 4G network, instantly can use Whatsapp and Wechat

i am sure I got plenty of data quota left, and have exceeded the 1 GB free data usage

so now, is Digi running a Ponzi scheme now?

I had this problem when I first use Digi BB, you have to report to CS, they told me it is hardware problem at their end. It took them 3days to correct it.

I think bcos Digi BB blocks VoIP it somehow also block WhatsApp too.

Is that time you redeem their free 1gb promo?

No it wasn't. I subscribe Digi BB, 2 months back, can't use WhatsApp from the first day. Btw the CS at the Digi centre didn't even know their BB can't use VoIP anymore.

argh dilemma now...haha. currently using digi 80 (10+10). very tempted to upgrade to the infinite 80 but is 5mbps speed enough? i use for occasional streaming movies n youtube on phone only. any opinions?tq

If Digi can guarantee the speed at 5 Mbps at all times then it is fine. If it is subjected to demand then congestion can be a problem.
