QUOTE(mrkudin92 @ Jan 28 2017, 05:41 PM) Sorry if this was already asked before but I couldn't search for similar question; Anyone subscribed to Digi Broadband alongside the Huawei e5577s modem like below? How to change the DNS in the control panel eh? Seems like I can't find the option. Is Digi removing it with their own firmware or it's just me overlooked it? I thought you set the DNS at your receiving device(s)?

QUOTE(tympg @ Jan 28 2017, 05:56 PM) I thought you set the DNS at your receiving device(s)? Yes but my experience before using other modems you can change in the modem's control panel so that all of the device accessing the wifi/network will use the same assigned DNS. Therefore I assumed it might be the same with this modem. But I guess I'm wrong lol.

Maybe all Huawei MiFis recently are like that.

QUOTE(GameSky @ Jan 28 2017, 05:46 PM) probably they throttled it..me and my friend also experiencing the same speed.. if lucky can get 100KB/s lol I think that is good way to control bandwidth overload. P2P really affects the network performance.

I used to have a TPLink M7350 mifi device that I used with Digi Broadband. There was no way to set the DNS on the mifi device, only on receiving devices. On more traditional dedicated routers/modems, yes you can set the DNS in the setup menu but I have yet to find a mifi device that enables you to do the same.

QUOTE(khainiz94 @ Jan 27 2017, 08:43 PM) Maybe they are closing the loophole by reducing the quota. If everyone want to know app updates, Windows updates or any related to updating software including speedtests, it deducts the Music Freedom quota. But music streaming is never enough with 1GB only. At least 2GB or so laa

Guys, I think Digi's 'Lite' is just the same speed as basic data(64kB/s or 512kb/s). Can someone confirm?

I think only internet lite can only make ur speedtest having 512kbps Other video lite fb lite wont affect speedtest speed... Or u mean digi set basic data to 512kbps? (Which i dun think so) Mind show ur speedtest result? This post has been edited by prosibu: Jan 30 2017, 05:18 PM
