Can see the VoLTE on top signal bar area.
But when calling, did not show HD icon.

Same phone use Umobile line call out, it will show HD icon. Tried Yes LTE too, it should has HD icon on VoLTE mode.

After enabled VoLTE, my digi line something call had HD icon, sometime don't had. I also confuse.
Anyway the important is continue using 4G when incoming or outgoing call.

I am Mi Max too. Buy at Yes4G store. But it don't supported webe band 5.

Has you enabe VoLTE on your phone.

Settings - Sim cards &mobile networks -> VoLTE enabled

Restart phone if still not.

Did received sms from digi status your VoLTE was activated?

Then walk around your area. I discover not all signal tower you can get VoLTE "word at signal bar.

When signal bar shown 4G, make any call with drop to H+ and HD icon appeared.
When signal bar shown 4G VoLTE, make any call line remain 4G. No HD icon appeared.

Can't help if Apple.
My phone not support Digi CA intra-band. So no 4G+ icon on signal bar.

Mydigi, settings, subscriptions. You will saw Vo-LTE (active)

I can't tell which set.
I bought from Yes4G store before xiaomi malaysia selling it.
My phone cannot detect band 5.
Current ROM is MIUI Global 8.2.1 MBCMIDL. All ROM update through OTA, never flash ROM manually.
Yesterday detect new ROM 8.2.3 OTA, haven't install.

Technically should be able. The cost performance should weighting it can be or not.

So far i found that only Wikipedia saying mi max is LTE-A.
Anyone found xiaomi officially say it is support LTE-A?

Yesterday googled whole night. the my conclusion is the hardware processor is LTE-A ready, maybe MIUI not ready. (same like processor support all range of band, but MIUI limit it. Possible it may required license, my guess)
