Mine is around 150kb/s to 200 kb/s when connection is good, when bad just like the ur test result, under 50kb/s...

Btw, i use airzed also, speed is good, and their hotspot i can said is better maintained than tmnet one. At some place like genting and kl central airzed is also using tmnet line.

For me personally and the location i travel, i still find digi edge + airzed wireless suit me better that other wireless provider.

Don't expected super fast connection from edge, but u can expected stable connection from them. generally u will get above 100kbps when good and below 50kbps when bad, but for me i am getting around 115kbps from my home, which is consider good. I did a test using my boss maxis 3g
i get this speed 21.7kbps download and 14.7kbps upload.(see the attachment)

My advise is to test the connection at ur place, borrow your friend maxis 3g or digi edge to test at ur area see it it suitable for you or not,

voip or webcam in Yahoo messenger or Windows live messenger not really good, but surfing is ok.

MJC apartment in batu kawa,kuching, not tested there. but tested in sungai maong (edge coverage) and kasuma area in kuching, speed is consider ok, can get 100kbps +-

check your digi coverages here http://www.digi.com.my/data_services/gprs/...prs_coverage.do, see it is in edge or gprs coverage.

Note: Using huawei e220 and nokia n76 as modem

from the digi website show MJC got edge now, but jalan muara tuang still is gprs, haha...
cannot do test, cause not in kuching now, might go back end of the year...

deactivate my digi unlimited data plan yesterday, as my work now very much in need of higher speed internet connection , signing up streamyx fixed line, not sure the Airzed wireless user name and password still working or not..haha... By the way i notice there is increase in digi edge upload speed in my area, where download speed remain the same, but it is getting harder to get connected.
