I will be staying in Malacca in next 3 months in hostel. Since no fixed line is provided, my only option is to get a wireless broadband.

I'm considering Digi EDGE since everyone says it's stable. How much is the monthly fees? Is there any student price? If yes, do they accept students from flying schools?

The flying school I will be joining is not in the list. Even Academik Laut Malaysia Alam is in it. Will they entertain request to add any institution to their list?

Is the coverage map here or here more accurate? The Google Maps on the broadband coverage map shows more EDGE coverage than the former coverage map.

Just want to make sure that my area is covered before subscribing, at Malacca airport. And no, no one is using Digi in my house, so I can't test. Also, how satisfy are you towards Digi EDGE's coverage?

I wonder how slow the it is to stream YouTube videos using EDGE. I'm running a so-called video blog where I will look for videos on YouTube and blog it.

I also wonder which such pathetic uplink, would it be even possible to lifestream on webistes like http://twitcam.com

DiGi EDGE makes it really convenient for mobile usage such as Twitter. Stable yet true unlimited service. biggrin.gif

Second that. It's very fun to take a picture on my phone and tweet right away, especially for such awesome price.

Speedtest 5 minutes ago, not bad at all biggrin.gif
