@f1br3opt1c:- As long your area is covered, then you can use the service. Since EDGE configuration is same as GPRS configuration.

Except you're gonna pay for the data transmitted, since you're not in the Data Unlimited Plan.

@rajulkabir:- Nope, cannot use to make voice call. But can text messaging o_O...[charges in your bill tho, not free...lol]

hmm...you actually can do that, either convert your data plan only to just like normal postpaid + data unlimited plan [if not mistaken]

oh...normal digi shops...I don't think they know much, better you ask at the DiGi centre "/...or you can try email them "/

I wonder if those software do boost your internet speed ._.

It's all depends on your area and your phone...

Max speed I got [no internet, no msn] is around 26kb/s aka 208KB ._.

anyone try DiGi edge to play online games? will it lag? or the ping is even worst than Screamyx?
*
not recommended, lol...
You'll lags a lot.

And about RM66/month, I do received the message from DiGi, the next bill should be RM66 now.

Anyway, applies for the 2nd line, must be under the same name right? To only pay rm33[2nd line]?

^ It is from that range.

Can't be helped, its based on GPRS [EDGE is of course faster than GPRS tho, lol]

And again it's mobile connectivity.

Its ok if you're using it alone...and don't compare much with the speed since DiGi haven't rolls out their 3G plan, yet.

Although the speed is around 225~254kbps...but...it OVERCOMES celcom's 3-gay- bb much in term of service quality and also customer support.

celcom...sure, fast...but always dc or always got service interruptions [they won't tell you about this, and they keep telling you its your fault until you're like "wtf"-mode then they'll tell you the truth]<--- you call that customer SUPPORT?

DiGi > celcom. period.

On my exp on BT with EDGE, max speed you can get is ~24kbps...tho moderate speed is around 15-18kbps.

One thing for sure, no bandwidth cap and also bt block protocol or even emule block.
