hey guys wanna ask something. city e spec doesnt come with fog lamp so can i still install a fog lamp? if so how would i turn it on after installed?
*
usually aftermarket oem fog lamp kit comes with the big button to ON/OFF the fog lamp. or you can get the V spec signal stick to control ON/OFF, provided the technician know how to do the wiring.

by the anyway, any non-V spec user able to enable the fog lamp icon in odometer light up during turning on the fog lamp?

Wow! Thanks for the overwhelming responses.

So, basically the Toyota is more comfortable than the City, and should (in theory) be less rattly then the City.
Spec wise, they're both almost exactly the same (minus the few City advantages pointed out above).

How bad is the rattling in City? All cars confirm kena? Can it be fixed by SC?
Is the CVT problematic?

I think I'll go for another test drive and wait for discounts before deciding.

Thanks everyone!  notworthy.gif

My pre-facelift city E spec was 3 months old now. I got the rattling noise under the steering wheel and "tak tak" sound near driver side door when pass by un-even road. SC manage to fix the first issue but the second issue still there.

E spec user, when you connect hp to head unit through bluetooth, then press call button on steering to enter Hand Free mode. During that time, can you control up and down in the head unit menu using the steering?

Mine does every morning before going to work and every evening after working.

by the way, anyone know the B-CAN H&L is located at which pin of the odometer? These 2 pin can connected to pin-3 and 13 of CAN connector of V spec HU, in order to get the fuel consumption information display on the HU.

i'm going to get V spec head unit for my E spec city, below are some questions I would like to confirm before installing.

1. Can hand phone still connected to head unit through bluetooth used for call function? without any extra acc'y like hdmi wire/wireless mirrorlink
2. Can the hand free call & disconnect button on steering still working?
3. If working, during hand free mode, can the up & down key on steering working in order to select which number to call?

GM6? no such thing lo..1k km inspection doesn't involve engine oil change,if u add 6months from the 1k km date ,it will be 9months ....

My car registered at 23-Jan-2017, and I collected it at 28-Jan-2017. My 1k km service suppose at 28-Feb, but they arranged it at 8-March-2017. From the receipt, it show next 10km service at 8-Sept-2017, which is 6 months later from 1k km service.

1k service is 1 month after purchase, 6 month after 1k service is 7 months, how did u calculate as 9 month? lol...

My city reaching 6months soon.
Do we count the 6months service starting from date of purchase ? or it's 6months from the date of first 1km/1month service ?
Am confuse ... please comment if you know about this. Thanks .

i think is 6 month after 1k service, if u not yet reach 10km. mine also same, car registered at 23-jan, 1k service at 8-march, and 10k service at 8-sept.
