QUOTE(ameri @ Aug 8 2017, 01:57 PM) City FL V here. My pre-FL is the same. My previous old Nissan car also the same. Maybe Japanese-made cars made the right hand light slightly lower to avoid blinding oncoming traffic since not high-tech headlights anyway. Is it normal that the left headlamp light position higher than the right? [attachmentid=9024875] |

QUOTE(DreamerTKM @ Aug 8 2017, 02:25 PM) Nope. Those are under ECE regulation. They call it asymmetrical beam pattern For right hand drive, the cut off line for right side need to be lower than left side. -----\____ For left hand drive, the cut off line for left side need to be lower than right side. ____/----- This being intentionally done to prevent further glare to the traffic in the opposite direction. It doesn't matter whether its high tech or low tech, just that projector type can have a nice cut-off line, while reflector type still have slight glare. So do take note that, when ordering headlamp from oversea, make sure you 2x check with the seller to confirm the headlamp is made for the left/right hand drive car else you will just end up blinding others even on low beam. |

QUOTE(haoadam @ Aug 10 2017, 02:31 PM) 4k and a full tank as free gift. BTW, tat SA agree to take my 2011 Saga FL 12k Usually HM end of year promo rebates around 5-6k and with SA own discount might get up to 7k (or even more) sometimes if i remember correctly. If you are willing to wait until November(I think this is when end of year promo starts), then wait lo if u think it will be worth it.not urgent la, but just if need to wait 2 months, i should rather wait for year end? tat SA told me if i confirm the deal, our deal will not follow HM further discount >.< not sure should i take the deal ..... |

QUOTE(keithwwk @ Aug 10 2017, 03:09 PM) How come SA can fork out 1k- 2k discount? Their profile margin is huge! Relax...maybe at the time i bought they could la. Now maybe not. JB area really not willing to give much rebate. 4k to 4.5k without any freebies some more. Most of them like tak mao pun tak apa like that one... Anyway last year's HM rebates for end year promo was 6k. So it's still really possible to get at least 6.5k of discounts. |

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Aug 11 2017, 11:01 PM) Wanna bring this up again. Since this is my 1st autobox car, im not so familiar with proper shifting method. N to R can meh? That's definitely not possible in my car or in any other auto car that i've driven. R to N; N to D (and vice versa); D to S (and vice versa) is ok to not press the gear button to shift, although R to N has a noticeable click sound when you do shift without pressing the gear button. But anybody find that u can switch gears 1 position up or down without using the gear Release Button? Is like i can shift N-R-N-D without pressing the release button. Is it bad if i do that? |

Why wanna use such an odd size for tyres? Get the common 185/60 will do. And might be cheaper than the 175/65 or 175/55 too

QUOTE(Gamerjim @ Aug 18 2017, 02:23 PM) Any feedback from city owners who are also using 185/60/15? Mine seem pick up slower as compared to original 175/65/15 after changing tyre… dunno really due to larger tyre size or just placebo.. I'm using 195/55 now. Dont feel any difference in terms of pick-up. If got also very slightly slower only. But grip-wise, better for sure for me |

QUOTE(ameri @ Aug 18 2017, 04:43 PM) Stock rims. Errm...only the front tyres look wider than it should be because the front bumper doesn't obscure the whole view of the tyre if you look from the front of the car. Rears look perfectly normal to me. Anyway aesthetics dont play much of a role in my decision with tyres. Just didn't like the cornering stability with the 175 and the fact that it was an odd size so it's pricey. |

QUOTE(ameri @ Aug 18 2017, 06:50 PM) I mean how does the rim and tire looks together? So we don't need wider rim to accommodate wider tire? Sorry noob here Can fit. But that's the max width for our stock rims. Looks ok to me but that's subjective. Some ppl's eyes more sensitive than mine. But if u are thinking about changing tyre size and dont want to worry so much about looks, 185/60 is a good choice. |

Fuel efficient, smoothness of the CVT (despite some car blog said the Almera's is better but i honestly disagree), the spaciousness, and the looks of the car itself. #syoksendiri
