QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Aug 29 2017, 02:12 PM) I also find that on highway, this City (mine petrol E spec) is most economical running around 100-110km/h. Last week I drove to Port Dickson from KL...when I go 120-140km/h, km/l meter starts to drop. For sure la bro...u tekan more rpm also higher. 100-120 still gives very good fuel consumption numbers for long distance drives. Able to clock in 16.5-17km/l with those speeds

QUOTE(danthe0 @ Aug 30 2017, 10:00 PM) Hybrid, So I was driving into residential area in fully EV mode. Parked the car. Then felt the bonnet. It was SAME AS OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE. I thought engine needs to be hot for the oil to flow around to lubricate the parts ? If driving on EV and engine at outside air temperature (bonnet), if suddenly race the engine, potential premature damage ??? U got try opening the bonnet and touching the engine itself? Lol

QUOTE(danthe0 @ Aug 30 2017, 10:16 PM) I can tell u it's hot. I've opened the bonnet before just after finished driving. The outside surface is not hot at all but the inside is really hot as a normal engine should be. The bonnet cover is well-insulated

QUOTE(cyewe @ Sep 19 2017, 04:15 PM) Hi guys, i just got my new city v last week. i realize my fc is not so good. AVG 9-11KM/L. 70 city 30 highway drive. im a gentle driver and even with the econ mode turned on, 1st full tank only can run 340km+-, which is quite a big diff from majority owner (13-15km/l city drive) can get. It is normal for a new car to be like that? will it be better after the first service (1000km)? If u get stuck in the traffic jam a lot along with a lot of start-stop traffic then it's pretty normal to have such fuel consumption. Anyway, it's only been a week. Monitor it longer. Learn how to keep the "live" average km/litre reading higher while driving.
