Is the price Gst inclusive?

I managed to find and bought xm2 175/55 RM220 Gst inclusive from Lazada. Also able to use credit card to purchase to gives me 5% cash back + shopback. I am going for installation this month.

And the Cheras shop recommended here quoting me 175/55 RM204 Gst not inclusive.

175/55 is City exclusive size I heard.

May i know why tyre shop quote me xm2 185/55 rm200 but 175/55 rm210?

Bigger size cheaper than smaller size.

Pilot sport out of stock

Why wanna use such an odd size for tyres? Get the common 185/60 will do. And might be cheaper than the 175/65 or 175/55 too

Original size for 15" is 175/65/R15.
For 16" is 185/55/R16.

Why get odd size of 175/55?

Any feedback from city owners who are also using 185/60/15? Mine seem pick up slower as compared to original 175/65/15 after changing tyre… dunno really due to larger tyre size or just placebo.. hmm.gif

I'm using 195/55 now. Dont feel any difference in terms of pick-up. If got also very slightly slower only. But grip-wise, better for sure for me

My stock was 175/65r15. Pick up was quite good. The pick up became slow and heavy after changing to 195/60r15. After changed back to 175/65r15, pick up became good again. Next time will stick back to stock size.

Stock rim? 15' or 16'? Does the rim look weird using wider tire?

Stock rims. Errm...only the front tyres look wider than it should be because the front bumper doesn't obscure the whole view of the tyre if you look from the front of the car. Rears look perfectly normal to me.

Anyway aesthetics dont play much of a role in my decision with tyres. Just didn't like the cornering stability with the 175 and the fact that it was an odd size so it's pricey.

I mean how does the rim and tire looks together? So we don't need wider rim to accommodate wider tire? Sorry noob here biggrin.gif
