Hi guys. Would like to ask if you guys were asked to service based on the date in the service booklet instead of the mileage. I don't travel too much and I can hardly achieve the 10k mileage in 6 months. But my SC insisted that I must service based on the date, or else I won't be entitled for the free labor charges. This means paying more to service my car more often that I should based on my mileage. Anybody else encountered this? Thanks.

Applicable for most of the car manufacturer ....this is very common ...6months or 10k km ...

Yes sometimes will do speed driving on MEX, rev kao kao to 5k rpm to hit 190km/h, sometimes got that burning smell sometimes don't.
I think is the CVT fluid not able to cool down the belt quickly enough and produce some burning smell. Just my 2 cent hmm.gif
*
Our car not design to drive more than 190km/h.thus ,the cvt fluid use is not cater for that purpose as well ..

Hi LYN CITYzens.

My gf owns a Honda City 1.5L E 2014. I believe her stock tires are 175/65 R15. <got this from Honda official website.

May I know what tires are recommended for daily driving in terms of NVH & performance?
As usual, girls aren't gonna break their bank for tires. So my job is to find a fairly priced one with acceptable performance.

Please help advise.
*
go for goodyear assurance triplemax , xm2...priced around RM170-250 ... tyres are the most important part for a car.... if u love ur gf, subsidy part of the tyres price , to get a better tyre...a better tyre cost around 200 .. dont simply get silverstone tyre or falken tyre ... tongue.gif

I believe a RM200 15" tyre should do quite well. My budget is around there too, just unsure which RM200 model is worth the bucks.

Having your opinion, goodyear assurance triplemax, does it fair well under wet road? KL rains quite alot, sometimes.

http://www.lazada.com.my/goodyear-assuranc...n-18628781.html

mine is 16" ... 185/55/15 is the nearest size for ur ori rim ... dry and wet quite ok..use for around 3-4k km currently ....feel confident when go thru water pool ... thumbup.gif

Woah, PS3 sounds goodie. Didn't know they have 15" tires. If RM230 + 6%, i'll most probably get this.

Thanks for the good recommendation!
*
PS3 is a good choice...long last tires ..can last at least 70k km according to my bro who drive Inspira ....can consider PS4 also

Guys, Honda City V 2016 (manufactured on early 2017) before facelift introduced good to take? after rebate is RM84k OTR. Or should I get latest City E better?
*
Not worth to take the pre facelift . Current promo is 4k at least for the facelift model .so after discount is rm88k ...

Extra 4k discount to forgo paddle shifters , LED headlight , reverse camera is too little ...

one question, how do you guys start car?

1. straight press brake, then press push start
2. press push start once, then press brake, press push start again.
3. press push start twice, then press brake, press push start again.
*
3. But I not sure if I need to change my push-start soon ...coz i press it more frequent

Is it bad? What brand you recommend?

I bought it during 11.11 last yr . It's so noisy until I would rather don't use the wiper at all sometime . The quality is equivalent to Bosch Eco wiper ....

Still looking for a better wiper right now .

1 question.. if i service at 12k mileage, so my next service will be 20k or 22k?
*
22k. 10k after 12k km
