Sound is even better cause got build in pre-amp and equalizer. Crystal clear with stock speakers

Gps waze, require data to load map first. Then turn off data and use gps external sensor or continue using data.
Gps google map, require data.
Gps papago, no data require, just use external sensor.
Gps locking not sure cause i always use google map and have wifi hotspot connected. So its very fast locking locking the current location and to search. Im listening to youtube when not using map. Else i will use radio or usb music at background when i need to use map. )

About lag. Im not sure yet. But looks good after few days using. Like having a tablet on the car dash.

About sound. Definately no krik krik sound. Have to ask the installer to tie up nicely all the cables and dont let them hanging. Else when car roll over uneven road, you can hear the wire knocking the plastic or etc. So far mine no sound

Reverse cam will not stop the radio.
For bluetooth call, i did used a few times while driving. The mic is at the top left of the HU. So far no problem talking over the air when driving.

For air mirroring using easyconnect feature, yes able to full screen if you put your screen to horizontal direction. But in my oppinion, there is no point to mirror the phone as mostly all can be run independantly on this HU. All you need is to feed it with wifi hotspot or using a mifi device data is perfect enough.

I think with that rm1k. A more signaficant upgrade is the s & e spec rear lamp. Change it to V spec led rear lamp or a bmw style lamp your car will look 1 step up and to distinguise your car compare to pre fl city

The make/answer call and hang up steering is actually working after i reconfigure the steering setting.

Just for sharing.

With front cam and installation complete less than 1.6k.

The rear camera recoder can support as well but i havent install yet. Maybe for front i will geta better dvr type and move the current exiting aux av camera to the rear. But I lazy to pull the cable myself. Later go back to the shop dont know will charge me installation cost again or not.

The sound quality is above the stock hu sound on the samd stock speakers. Not as good as my home theater sound of course using klipsh systems. I guess the next upgrade is to replace the stock speakers with focal auditor or expert will give a big boost in term SQ. (Clear and crisp instruments music sound)

Initially before upgrade i was looking at kenwood DDX9017S that cost near to 4k including honda city panel case, canbus and installation. Someone from this forum shared with me cause he just fixed on his hrv.

Before on previous car i was using pioneer 2din touch screen 3 years old model, heck the sound is good but functionality is totally out, no gps, no mirroring, no youtube, no wifi, nothing. No steering control cause need to add canbus. All it does was usb and radio. Cant even watch movie or video clips. That time when i got it fixed was around 1.2k with reverse cam and installation.

Then i compare back this 10.1inch for rm1.6k vs 1.2k i got every functions that a top notch player can do. Its oem compatible no cutting original honda wire. It has wifi which i used to connect to a 3g usb dongle. It a step up audio quality but not much guess its speaker limitation. To me its totally worth the money. For this price and offering, have nothing more extra to demand.

On the other side, you can get the same type android car audio 10.1 from ali express for 200usd not including shipping. The extra im paying here is for the shipping cost and warranty from local supplier.

Black has the most sharpest look and its the hardest to take care. A gentle wipe during car wash will create light scratch and swirl on your clear coat and its obvious to human eye.

I bought a blower machine to dry this black car after car wash. And I use 4 different clean cloths to wash the car. Imagine how bad it is.

For white you can see dirt very obvious but cant see damage on clear coat. For black you can see clear coat even very light damage, but dirt not as bad as white.

Metallic silver is good as it has the best of both sides.

Yes short press answer call button is map to bluetooth. Short press close phone button is map to hang up. For long press drop call button i map to back, and long press answer call button i map to home.

Yes dont go for white and black unless you have a lot of time to take care of the car paint. Else just send in for ceramic pro coating that is pain in the ass because ths cost is rm2k plus. But can save you a lot of time washing it.

Modern steel just require 1 year polish n wax 1 time will do and still looks brilliant.

Try bring your car to highway ride on a holiday. See how it performed. When got my car first week last month. Pumped full never even get 450km. After 2 3 weeks and 1st service check. And went highway 2 rounds to kuantan can clocked me near to 600km. Now 3k plus millage. Last i check 39 liters petrol clocked me 500km+ on my daily ride to work from subang to kl.

Look for any led with 6300k colour temp that gives pure white. For led light intensity look for 6000 lumens and above. City has 2 bulbs type. Low beam H11 and high beam HB3 if not mistaken. Try looking around the spec above, china or taiwan brand made with longer warranty will cost rm2xx. Shorter warranty will cost rm1xx. If go for branded philips will cost rm5xx.
