That's WhatsApp for BBOS10. I'm talking about WhatsApp for Android. You can install any apk anytime, so just install WhatsApp APK found on the net or modded WhatsApp.

True that.. but remember, if or when whatsapp sets the requirement of a minimum android 4.4, you won't be able to use it.

When that requirement is implement, we can only rely on modded WhatsApp.

The unique 1:1 screen and keyboard, even Priv and KeyOne can't beat it's uniqueness.

Just hoping TCL or other enterprise will buy that BBOS and continue making one.
Or even better, BlackBerry still continue with their BBOS, just that phone is made by TCL. I don't mind BBOS don't have 3rd party apps, just update the Android runtime software to latest one.

Android WhatsApp looks/working great on Passport, just that not optimize to 1:1 screen.

We have already seen the Nokia is alive from the grave. Hoping the BBOS will too.

Nahh man.. Runtime wont be upgraded due to bb contract with android when they signed for their first bb android phone, priv. They're allowed to use android os, but no longer able to update runtime on bb10..sad, but true

So far very smooth running this phone. No issue on running apps and the camera is excellent. Reading my old 128 GB sd card is also easy. Boost charging is quite fast. And battery life... nice. On standby during sleep for 8 hours.. Practically zero reduction in battery life.

New user reporting in haha after struggle so much to decide to buy or not to buy .... Hope the decision is correct

First impression: Phone idle is cool, 30c. While my S8+ idle is 32c. Good job on software optimization or the mid-tier processor.

This phone is best to hold, obviously.

Ordered a cheapo hard transparent case on Lazada today. Hopefully won't long enough to arrive.
