Anyone observed Webe using TD2300 yet?
http://www.soyacincau.com/2016/12/08/webe-...etwork-in-2017/ Beginning Q1 2017, webe will be rolling out 2.3GHz TD-LTE coverage which will provide a higher capacity on top of its existing 850MHz LTE network. |

QUOTE(finalmakers @ Feb 22 2017, 03:08 PM) yeah i was also wondering about the same thing But they can't simple use other bands. These are licensed bands. maybe they will change it tho but who knows more band supported means less congestion for us user rite? They can migrate the existing P1 WimaX to LTE 2300 as mentioned in that article. |

QUOTE(MichaelJohn @ Feb 22 2017, 04:56 PM) It came with the 3 in 1 sim (full sized , macro and nano) So the broadband sim can surf internet on 5s? [attachmentid=8514714][attachmentid=8514718] and about my modem, not sure but from the modem specs i guess not. [attachmentid=8514716] I'm waiting for Huawei E5172 to test with webe. Although this router supports 850MHz it's not listed as compatible. Should arrive tomorrow. I should try broadband sim on my 6 also TP Link not support 850MHz it seems.. : 4G: FDD-LTE B1/B3/B7/B8/B20 (2100/1800/2600/900/800MHz) This post has been edited by ibnmurad: Feb 22 2017, 05:33 PM |

QUOTE(mayang @ Feb 22 2017, 06:27 PM) So you got E5172s-515 that support band5? Yes. E5172s-515 not sure it works. Usually if th2 device supports band 5 but not able to detect webe, what should we do? Apn setting? Anything else?Huawei 5172 variants: HUAWEI E5172s-22: Band 1/3/7/8/20/38 (800/900/1800/2100/2600MHz TDD 2600MHz) HUAWEI E5172s-920 : Band 38/40 (TDD 2300/2600MHz) HUAWEI E5172s-515: Band 2/5/7 (850/1900/2600MHz) Why there are are no variant that support triple band of webe Band 5/38/40. |

QUOTE(mayang @ Feb 22 2017, 08:24 PM) Just wait until the router is in your hand and test it yourself. Local. Seller only confirmed working on 850MHz. So, tomorrow will try it out with Webe. APN setting just enough to make the connection work. You buy it locally or international? Will try also other telco running LTE 2600 MHz. Umobile surely only runs 2600 MHz. Other, I have not check. Guys, your area Maxis, Celcom and Digi using what LTE frequency? Streamyx contract until this week, preparing to terminate 8 Mbps. I estimated RM100/month saving since I hardly use 1GB per day. From what counter said, it sounded like broadband subs are low due to device and LTE only situation.
I don't think they can attract more subs with any reduced quota. Which is why I'm about to terminate my Streamyx for webe broadband and save RM100 monthly |
