Did Webe nerfed VPN lately? I tried a couple VPNs and the speed is horrible. Before, i can stream 720p60/1080p without hiccups but now i can't even stream 480p with VPN.

QUOTE(asamalikum @ Jan 23 2017, 03:44 PM) It sometimes affected by the vpn server. If their traffic is congested, u won't get high speed no matter how fast webe can be. I tried Pure, Finch, PIA and all give the same speed around 0.8-2MBPS and all have trouble streaming Youtube 480p. When i tried w/o VPN i could get 6-8 Mbps at Fast.com/Speedtest/Openspeedtest. |

QUOTE(MakNok @ Jan 23 2017, 05:12 PM) actually i have read some mix review on those TunnelBear...Pure...Finch...and PIA....seem their service getting worse nowadasy. But i get great speed using them with my desktop + Streamyx. Torrent, Twitch and gaming is great. If their service getting worse then i should get similar performance when using Streamyx right? |

QUOTE(lolokzarecool @ Jan 26 2017, 05:18 PM) Hi everyone , just want to confirm. If i sign up i get unlimited data but the speed is capped for which apps? youtube? My experience as 3G only user, Twitch is not capped but sometime it can be a roller coaster ride where speed fluctuate, i had to turn on VPN for smooth HD stream. Also can anyone help me test if the speed is capped for twitch.tv app/site as it is the main streaming site i use all the time. No point i change to unlimited data if i can't watch my favourite streamers x.x |

QUOTE(GameSky @ Jan 27 2017, 10:12 AM) GGWP. But i'm not a bandwidth abuser so i don't think they will ban me. I use VPN to watch 720p60 Youtube once in a while or download |

QUOTE(MorningBoyz @ Jan 31 2017, 09:49 AM) Hi guys, I saw the webe promo going on. So did some reading here. Basically here are few that I may concern with. 1. Yes but for mobile only not broadband package.1) Unable to tethering / hotspot? 2) A lot of user in your same area will congest network thus reduce speed even below 5mbps? 3) Network not stable, may random drop? 4) tac code etc delayed? 5) Hvnt read about this, anyone facing call drop etc? 6) Coverage at city or town area won't be a problem, how about rural area? Unlimited data is not my concern as my average usage a month avragely around 5GB. What attracted me is the free call. After read few page, 50-50 deciding to go with webe or not. 2. Try below 1Mbps 3. Speedrate like roller coaster. 4. You need to contact the CS to fix any TAC problem. They still didn't solve SMS authentication problem with ArenaNet for Guildwars 2 for me though. 5. Never experience any call drop. 6. 4G is very limited but for 3G should have no problem since they use Celcom 3G network. Average around 5GB then Webe is not for you, better go with Celcom 80, much stable speed and low latency at least in my case. |

QUOTE(monsieurme @ Jan 31 2017, 12:49 PM) For youtube, try using ogyoutube instead to access 720p or 1080p videos without being capped. *I dont think any of these are against the rules just not very ethical. And yes of course downloading games will easily get you 100gb but i'm not much of a gamer Too bad i can't use it. |

QUOTE(monsieurme @ Jan 31 2017, 02:19 PM) If your phone is rooted try the xposed version of ogyoutube, it works fine for me. ( or simply the rooted version). Nvm, found the culprit. Package Installer don't have Storage permission in LineageOS 14.1.QUOTE(GuN @ Jan 31 2017, 03:06 PM) Mobile. |
