My set is ap set. I think it is same hardware with Malaysian set. Kenzo version of snapdragon. Need root for network signal guru. If your speed test is more than 25mbps, mean you are connected to band 38 or 40. Webe band5 maximum speed 25mbps based on 5MHz bandwidth.
*
My home can acheive highest speedtest at 15mbps but it once reached 45mbps near BTS/TBS terminal. So with all 3 bands maybe I should get one RN3/2gb/16gb as a MIFI with WebeBroadband.

This is what higher band frequency performance.

Band 5 lower freq with 5MHz max 25mbps
Band 38 high freq with 20MHz max 100mbps

It is fact. Not fake. The speed QoS then controlled by telco to give user how much the max speed.
*
QUOTE(ibnmurad @ Mar 4 2017, 08:27 AM)
Imagine the speed when Webe later supports Carrier Aggregation (Band 5 + 38 + 40)

Only latest Mifi/Router has CA capability. $$ also high
*
QUOTE(zher4883 @ Mar 4 2017, 09:25 AM)
Band 5 could go up to 37.5 Mbps theoretically since only 5Mhz is used.
As for Band 38, since it's a TDD duplex type, we need to know the exact download/upload ratio to determine the exact speed but 114 Mbps download is achievable if they only have single digit upload speed.
*
For me even with these performance is of not much use if I only do streaming n downloading movies, and browsing unless I know how to circumvent throttling.

Guys long time no see~ seems like webe now use a method to detect user online with Windows rather than Android or iOS… if u guys are using a software to bypass their tethering, u will know this if u off the apps and do speed test and connect the software and do the speed test again~ they limit the speed to 2Mbps when u share hotspot to windows users… therefore do some homework to spy them from detecting the windows users~ don't pm me as I won't disclose out the method to anyone and those who success please don't be an idiot to share and let them use another method to throttle the speed again… anyway I'm not showing off here but to let u all know that there is way to beat the throttle speed that hunt us recently… hope those who do their homework can get the treasure~ I'm out and happy webe ya~

So this will affect windows 10 tablet with lte.

I can confirm that since I registered to Webe Broadband, 3 weeks ago, not a single issue happened. Very satisfied. Day time or night time, no problem.

Probably Webe prioritized Broadband/Mobile users?

exactly.

30gb flat, use any day, any time. simple plan. you get what you paid.

others in the market got split here, split there. it's a mess. you may not able utilize all quota.
*
Drawbacks are it is for a limited time only, and only on 4G.

Webe representatives confirmed with me that those who sign up within the promotion period will continue to enjoy 30GB, even after the promotion has ended.

No contract n 30GB, then worth considering. Any B&W?

Yeay. Got my Huawei E5172-515s direct sim router from Taobao for RM180 including delivery. Cheapest on Malaysian online stores like Lazada, Lelong, mudah etc is RM340. I ordered on 5 March, and the router was delivered today, about 5 working days. Those who want to know the link, just pm me.

I'm at Kuchai Lama, and Webe has a smaller ping, more stable and faster speed than U Mobile. But yeah, Maxis is has a faster speed and smaller ping in my area.
*
So what is the performance with webe?

TM is now offering a full suite of services to its 2.66 million household customer base. However to date only around 2% of its customer base are WeBe users. TM is targeting to increase it to 8%-10%.

TM is taking more efforts to bring WeBe to the market.
It just said that it is looking to tap into the small and medium (SMEs) segment by introducing tailor-made packages slated to be launched on April 11.

I think with the merger, the new entity will be able to offer 2-in-1, 3-in-1 packages that are cost-effective which other telecom operators are not able to compete cos they dont have a strong fix-line infra.

Yes flat 79..extra charge for roaming and mobile hotspot (rm6 per 2 hours). They throttled the speed of 3g to 2Mbps. 4g not sure..coz based on my experience it varies according to our location..max I get is 20Mbps( around KL and Selangor area).

Youtubing and streaming 480p no problem. Can go even to 4K if your area 4g speed permits it.

I am satisfied coz u got what u paid for and its unlimited data call sms..so dont have to worry about qouta, data saving app and everything.
*
If not mistaken, youtube n streaming also cap at 2Mbps, can do 4K?

anyone has the modem can confirm if it work with other telco's sim card?

Digi 80 but limit 5mbps , but can hotspot 5 gb
Webe 79 unlimited speed , cannot hotspot...
I stick to webe as well... because i dont need to hotspot and my area can use webe 20mbps..
Even sms also no limit... haha

Rm150 too expensive ... if compare with webe la
If rm100 can think about it..
*
But webemobile throttle speed to 2Mbps for streaming n downloading. Wait n see Webe will counter offer with limited hotspot too.

I'm switching over to digi infinite. I travel to china/hk frequently. the extra 5gb really useful for me. in addition, no need to pay for the 300 deposit whereby Webe will charge for roaming.
